yea best fight ever...and also probably a fight in which he was roiding. This was before he got caught so there is really not much doubt in my mind. Look at his career before and after the roids.Look at how slow he was after, look how long it took him to recover from the back .njury. All effects of the roids. Without roids i think he would have lost this fight, so i chalk the win up to cheating.
Well, the well is kind of poisoned now and one will always be sceptical about most of Vargas' big wins in the 3/4th of his career... But one thing I know roids can't do for you and that is to transform one into a great fighter! Vargas didn't win this fight by overpowering Quartey based on his own physicality but on skilled boxing! But it's like the Margarito thing with the plastered hand wraps, you just don't know... Long live Boxing! Mayweather is back!!! Got my money on that ni99a!!!
this is vargas at his best !! i think he would of been a great champion if his promoters would of taken theyre time with him instead of throwing him in there with trinidad when he was 21. he was never the same after that fight. no matter what people say about him he was an exciting fighter who always brought his best to the ring.
Indeed, he coulda been a great champion if he hadn't faced Trinidad unprepared. But you gotta remember that Trinidad also hit him with several low blows and it also had an effect on him. Plus the thing with Trinidad's illegal hand wrapping...who knows what would be without all this?

Their is a possbility that ODLH fought against 3 boxers that were Roided up. That would be Vargas,Shane Mosley and maybe Pacman. Fuck cheaters!
