I remember when I was about 8 years old... I saw a shooting star and I made a wish... My wish was that Elly would transfer to my school and be my girlfriend. Haha... fantastic memories of this show.

@damieandark After Googling, I think it is Professor Poopsnagle you're talking about. Never heard of it before, but there are videos on YouTube, and they are flying around in a bus.

I was not more than 7 or 8 at the time, but then again, I used to watch it in French, the title was "Ma fiancée est un fantôme" (my fiancée is a ghost), which was a weird choice since the two main characters never were engaged, (or did I just miss that episode?)

I was very little (4-5yo), but I remember this series, I recall when I think Elly came alive for a short while in the present day for some of the episodes of the series?

@labuff83I know what you are referring to (the final scene of the last episode) where he is telling the story into the recorder, then sees a girl on the stairs that looks like Elly. But really, one would assume that is not her, but either reincarnation or simply someone who looks just like her.

When I first time saw the tv-show in the past I very impressed of it. It is my favourite tv-show since then. In that moment, when the last episode was running, I felt like Jools Travellar, when Elly left her Necklace for him. The music and the memory to this great tv-show is our consolation prize we got after watching the final part and the music at the end. Hope to see this phantastic tv-show again sometime!!!!!!!

But weren't you disgusted by the ending? Bossy mum barges in, tells ghost "you don't belong here" which is exactly like racism, and blackmails ghost to leave. Ghost stupidly meekly complies and leaves her boy behind. Yonks later, without any explanation, boy meets a living girl with the same face as the ghost but slighlty different name, and we are supposed to be satisfied and stop crying.

Disgusting and diabolical. Give me Edge Of Darkness any day.
