Very comprehensive review thanx,. It's funny because every ipod armband I bought from an apple store has been atrocious and double the price than amazon!! A " BELKIN" , the one I have now, the velcro contact is so small and has opened while running and my iTouch fell out! I like the clip/armband combination on that on your favourite,. great review hope it's still available in 2012.
@SupraWes Thank you for your reply, SupraWes. another question if you dont mind. How much do they last for day-by-day running? I dont run much. just an half hour per day.
@SupraWes could you tell me will the griffin aeroband fit my arm,its just that i bought one of ebay and the vecro strap is to big for my arm and the ipod touch slides about all over so which is the best for me as i am very skinny
This is unbelievable. Last week i got this link ipad2reward (dot) info from my friend. Normally i don't believe any of this shit. Just participate in some kind of iPad2 Test program and get iPad2 for free. The word "Free" doesn't really exist in this world. The day after i tried give my email their and joined the program. And you know what! A Brand New iPad2 is in my hand now. I can't really believe this. And you don't have to believe me. But 3 friends of mine even got that thing before me.
I owned the griffin clear case for my ipod classic which would flop and then proceed to explode off of my arm during sprints and fly across the pavement or track. When in the gym everybody would then stare at me. This actually lead to the demise of my ipod and lost me 200 bucks. How Griffin can sell such a peice of garbage in good contience is beyond me.A child could design a better band. JERKS!
@MichaelAgee No the iphone wont fit into the aerosport. I would go with The black belkin one from these choices, it is designed to fit both the iphone and the ipod touch. It is the one I am currently using with my iphone. I have been on the lookout for the perfect armband for the iphone but so far I have issues with all the ones I have seen.
I don't agree with the review on the Belkin Sports Armband. The material used in it is VERY CHEAP. After a month of using it, the metal clip which is used to loop the material through broke very easily. I am not sure why Belkin released something that uses such cheap metal.
wow thanks for the review it really helps! but what happens if you sweat a lot whe using the Griffin Aerosport goog one ,does it support hard training? and are the headphones cables large? how do you cut the cables to fit your requirements?
@penguinsgorawr12 I doubt any of these will fit with the otterbox on there. Its difficult just to get the iphone itself into some of these. You would have to take it out of the otterbox to use it with an armband.
@mermaid11236 The band itself starting to seperate a bit but that's after 8+ months of 20+ miles a week, not bad for something that costs $10. No exercise gear lasts long from my experience. The Case itself is still great.
Thanks for taking the time and expense to review these. I love the iTouch, but it's been more difficult to find a suitable armband when compared to my previous iPods. It sounds like the Aeosport has exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks again!
Thanks! Let me know if you see any others yo think I should check out, there's always room for improvement. I hope designers see real world reviews like this and make them even better.
ok well i bought the aerosport before i saw this video, and i was reading a lot of BAAAD reviews about this falling apart. so, how long did you use this item before reviewing it?
also, did you / can you review "Incase Sports Armband" the one thats on the apple store website? or have you heard any good news, cause after reading all the bad reviews im thinking of returning the aero
I have been using it for about 5 months now. It shows some wear in places but I do run 20+ miles a week so its expected I think. I doubt I will be reviewing anything Apple sells since their prices on accessories are outrageous. I paid $10 or less for most of these.
Which Griffin AeroSport model is that ? I'm looking at ebay and Im finding allot of models.

Thanks for the reviews. Wish you had mentioned price, the Belkin plus is $40! I'd also like some close-ups of all the products that you review.

hey there, i have an OtterBox iphone3g case, and i was wondering if any of the bands are stretchy enough to envelope it fully? thank you

It would get pretty slippery when you sweat all over it. I wouldn't want to risk dropping such an expensive and fragile device.

Please can you let me know how you managed to attach the nike+ sensor to you shoe laces? Thanks
gazzafoster 1 year ago
I use the Switch Easy Runaway, google it. Its a nice device that holds the sensor and locks onto the laces very securely.

I got the Best Buy's Rocketfish arm band, have you tried it? I thought it's pretty good but it doesn't have a key or credit card holder.
videoreborn 2 years ago
If you are thin, the rocketfish will not fit on your arm. Be sure to try it on in the store.
newcrew42 2 years ago
I have looked at it in the store but my initial impression was kind of blah. How do you like it so far?
SupraWes 2 years ago
I returned the Rocketfish and bought the XtremeMac for iPhone 3G/3GS + iPod Touch one. So far so good.
