  • this heap of junk may be $70 million-smack-a-roo's a pop.. ... but if i may speak idealistically.. this may be a HUGE step in tilt-rotor aviation.... the first model of something is always terrible... but give the V-22 Osprey maybe.. 10 more years.. and a cheaper bigger (or) smaller more efficient and reliable tilt-rotor will surly come...

  • @wjohnsonism you honestly have no idea what you are talking about. this tilt-rotar aircraft is capable of so much. how is it a heap of junk?? i would love to know. airplane mode giving it more range while helicopter mode giving it more capabilities. it can haul humvees and artillery just like helis but faster and can get it places easier unlike planes. its a modern marvel

  • not to mention a mechanical NIGHTMARE

  • No I will not get on board. A trillion a year for defense. Corporations paying 0% tax. Wealthy people paying 10% taxes on the majority of their income (capital gains) while "normal" people pay 25-33% on the money they work for. Wars started for no reason. A military that is larger than the rest of the world combined. I will not get on board. Eisenhower (the Republican) was right.

  • @SamJendo1 actually, the top 1% pays 40% of the US income tax. The bottom 47% pay less than 1% of the income tax. In other words, the rich contribute to society, the poor don't

  • @V22AboundPotential I think the next design will be similar to Avatar model. haha

  • From Airforcetimes website: crash investigation of Osprey in Qalat Afghan. April 2010 revealed engine failure. Military wanted chief investigator to change his report to "pilot error". "The stresses of flying in the dirt and dust of Afghanistan probably caused the engine problems" BGen. Harvel, chief investigator said. He was not allowed to brief the families of the 4 KIA onboard. Maybe Airforce wants to coverup the reliability problems of this overpriced $67M helo?

  • Get on Board...The Transformer!

  • sadly congress wants 2 get rid of this aircraft because they say its worthless no armor no weopons and the corp already has enough transport aircraft....i agree with them as well.....but cool aircraft
