  • Outside of static bag isn't static proof, you almost shocked it.

  • @Derppy1 okay mom, I'll make sure to rub myself all over my case and wear condoms next time.

  • nerd rage D:

  • @rai4war got that right.

  • Rofl at the ending xD

  • Greatest ending to a video! FUCK YOU USPS!

  • @TeamRebOrnPs3 Got that right.

  • haha @ actually i paid 200 dollars for this thing, it should be black

  • @Cajunomics Don't you agree? lol

  • how again am I connecting that to my computer. There doesn`t seem to be a usb slot of any kind.

Forgive my ignorance, just wondering :)

  • @moodydoyle PCI express slot on your desktop's motherboard. If you need a USB version, there is one now but it's USB 3.0.

  • HD PVR or This ?

  • @iiSnipeX2 If you gave me one to compare, I'd be glad to give you a proper answer.

  • @ThisGuyJohn lmao

  • Low Profile Brackets?

  • @LOLImBaker no its a full case size

  • COST?

  • @Top10TrickshotRanks $180-200 for the internal, $300 for the new Thunderbolt version for Macs

  • @TopcatGaming 360 HDMI yes, iMac no. There's no way to put this card inside the iMac, sorry. If your iMac is a newer version with a Thunderbolt port, you can buy the Thunderbolt version of this card. Otherwise, you'll have to settle with a pretty good substitute in the Hauppague HD PVR. Hope that helps

  • Does it NEED to go into the 1x slot? Because my 1x slot is a bit short, so i just put it into the PCI that isnt 16x.

  • @MisterNyaah it works in ANY pci-e slot.

  • if it was black it wouldnt work

  • DO i need a TV to do this?

  • @MiguelCrespo85 Or a monitor that has HDMI in

  • i'm not a big a/v guy but why would you use this to capture videos off your HD camera? wouldn't capturing with the USB cables that come with the camera give you the same quality? just curious... i would use this card to capture stuff off my HD DVR.

  • @w1n78 If your theory was correct, then this semi-professional product wouldn't be so popular now would it?

  • dude wtf wrong with your thoat suckin to much cock nah im kinding don't go off at me nah i just wanted to say that with the hd pvr do u need the camera with the pvr to record gameplay e.g. cod or battlefield or can u use it by it self and when you are playin and recordin can u play in hd or is it like the haupauge were u can only play in strandard def and record in hd what i mean is can you play / record with hmdi cords if u no wat i mean i hope u do

  • @XxLUCASxXHD With the BMIP, you hook up the console directly to the card. I don't see why you would want to hook up a camera to the BMIP for recording your gameplay. You might as well just use a camera to record your gameplay that way. Just make sure your console and settings have the same resolution or it'll never show up.

  • CRAZY /D

  • If i wanted to set this up on y PC, would i go:

    HDMI monitor > Cap Card

    Cap Card > Graphics Card

  • @PhiZixGaming You want to use the BMIP to record your PC? Just use Fraps. It's going to be a pain in the ass to record your PC via BMIP. First you'll have to set the PC resolution exactly to what you'll be recording as. Then the GPU goes into BMIP, and from the BMIP to the monitor using whatever cables you have. (In your case, HDMI)

  • @ThisGuyJohn Yeah if possible, I have used fraps, and on a 1080p res, it laggs so much, so i have to lowere the framerate and record it in half the size, even then, it still laggs like hell, so i was gonna go for a BMIP

  • best ending ever

  • is there any possible way of me putting that chip into a mac os x 10.5?! the cpu is attached to the monitor -___-

  • @skatermattarangatang No, this doesn't work with an iMac.

  • @MrJosephvids idk bout computers. LOL NERD

  • @skatermattarangatang Does it have thunderbolt ports? There's a new version of this that uses thunderbolt now.

  • No one give a rats ass if the box is dinged up its a fucking box

  • Dont forget its linux compatible now! :)

  • @cre8ive65 Very nice!

  • with this capture car i'd still be able to play my xbox on my HDTV while this card and my computer records it correct?

  • @PikusJ Yes.

  • I work for UPS, newegg packs their stuff pretty good, never see them being trashed around. Woulda loved to seen an install/using vid.

  • @Niche79 Installs are straight forward, as you look for the slots that I showed a picture of within your motherboard. You just push the bad boy in a pci-e slot and screw it in to keep it from moving around. As for using, I have another video down below as a response that shows what programs I use. It's a little outdated but it should be a good start. Recording= BM's software and Streaming= Wirecast instead of FME like I used previously. Hope that helps a bit

  • ugh, the box is dinged up...send it back, get a new one. Crappy box = Crappy product!!! - Angry paranoid asian

  • @JazzaG69 Indeed, I only respect polished, unharmed boxes.

  • how much are these

  • @Kurd4Eva101 200usd retail

  • i have an important question... does it matter wat camera it should be for the quality? or in every camera it has the same quality?

  • @mikeinthehouse123 It picks up and records whatever quality your camera can do. So of course, you want the best camera for however you're willing to spend.

  • would i be able to capture ps3 gamepplay on computer?

  • @MLaFick yes.

  • what are some good specs for a computer that can handle this

  • @delunajaime Core i5-i7 machine with 2 or more HDDs in Raid 0

  • @ThisGuyJohn Your an itiot, raid is not needed, at 5200 rpm hdd would do fine

  • @q1joe Sure, if the quality you're looking for is 360p. Buying a $200 capture card for trash quality. Only a true moron such as yourself could speak of such nonsense.

  • I have one question. Please answer. Im aching to know.

I just odered mine and should be here soon and i wanted to know if you experiance any like Delay during playing with your ps3.

I ask this because i ordered the HD PVR and its just horrible.... The delay is just like crap as hell..

    Please answer asap :]

  • @Orangeboxesx With the BMIP, you change the channel of your HDTV/monitor to play the game while it records on the side. There shouldn't be any delay making it hard to play. You just need to make sure your PC is beefy enough to handle the recording.

  • @ThisGuyJohn

Thanks so much. So your saying you just got to have a powerful computer?

Well yes i do! Thanks man. Subbed liked and faved!

  • @Orangeboxesx tyty and yea, I make a written review on my capture card finally. Just check the link on the description and you'll get just about all the info you need. If you still have questions just post a comment there.

  • Where did you bought the door / window thing in you antec 300 ? :P

  • @ThePussihousu I cut it myself with a dremel and bought the plexi at a hardware shop. Domo sticker was at FYE

  • @ThisGuyJohn Ok.. thanks man ! :) i think i'll make it for mine 300 too soon :)

  • @ThePussihousu Do a better job than I did though. Find u-channel trim for the edges of the side panel that you cut

  • Nice pc how much did you invest on it?

  • @OGYOSHI0007 I've upgraded my core parts since I've gotten this video, as well as getting HDDs in raid. Geez, probably over 2k by now. How much does my PC cost? At the time when all the parts were purchased, probably are in the $1500 area total

  • Can u record without camera?

  • @parkus123 Record what without a camera?

  • @ThisGuyJohn Gameplay

  • @parkus123 Console gaming? You just plug in HDMI/Component into the card.

  • @ThisGuyJohn Yeah but you used camera i don't know why u record it?

  • @parkus123 Oh, I hadn't even opened the box at this point lol..

  • What's the file size of uncompressed videos per minute?

  • @Kratos87Fan19 Haven't checked "per minute," but you'll need definitely well over a TB in raid0.

  • Can you get some sort of housing for this?

  • @TheToasterWaffel Just get the external version. "shuttle"

  • I've just got mine, and i'm having crazy huge problems with it. I run my PS3 through my pc monitor which is a ASUS VH242. So i swap from VGA(PC) to HDMI(PS3) when i want to use either. My question is, do i have to have a TV for it to work?

  • @Utorak007 It's best to use a second monitor or TV. Are you sure you did the settings right? Click on my video response to make sure you did it right. If you still have questions, ask me there.

  • @ThisGuyJohn Thanks for the reply! The only problem i'm having with that is connecting the wires. Since i have to use Composite cables and connect to a monitor, my monitor doesn't have the recieving ends for composite. Is this the same with all pc monitors? (so i know what to purchase when i can afford it).

  • @Utorak007 Yea, PC monitors usually only have VGA, DVI and some of the will also have HDMI. My PC monitor is an HDTV at the same time and has component inputs, no composite though.

  • can i use my xbox 360 with this?

  • @SuperCallofdutyVideo Anything pci-e is fine.

  • so ur mad because ups dented your box..... ur cool...

  • @yellosnomonkee Thanks for the view count, HUEAHUEHUAHUEAHUAH

  • @Kenji314159 Is the video in 1080p? Yes. Is that why I chose to put 1080p on the title? Yes. Can this card do 1080p? Yes, now it can with later drivers. Please, do not ever comment on my videos ever again.

  • very nice Antec 300 case you have there

  • can you record the ps3 via HDMI

  • @ThisGuyJohn , thanks for the reply I found a laptop that supports usb 3.0 the xps 15, now my question is to get record gameplay off my ps3 through hdmi would I: ps3-hdmi-hdmi splitter-then tv hdmi-to the same hdmi splitter- then hdmi splitter to intensity shuttle- to laptop?

  • @imNotMeWhenimHungry I'm guessing if you have a splitter, HDMI from Ps3 to splitter into shuttle and then from shuttle to laptop or extra monitor laying around.

  • go to 3:09 for the unboxing.

  • Is there a capture card that supports hdmi, that works on a laptop. I don't have have a desktop to plug this thing in.

  • @imNotMeWhenimHungry There is an external version of this, but the laptop needs USB 3.0. I don't really know of any that have that.

  • @imNotMeWhenimHungry - If you have a later model laptop, try an ExpressCard USB 3.0 adapter to give you the port you need for the external model. Buffalo makes them, as do a few others...

  • wait i dont get it

how do i set it up it looks fragile

  • i want to buy intensity pro but i have a question, i have a ps3 do i need some more cables to capture my gameplay?

I actually thought it woult be this: ps3 -hdmi-hdmisplitter- hdmi tv and hdmi in my intensity pro but my component what would i supposed to do with that? ;D

  • @kareltjuuuh You might not have to use component since you have an HDMI splitter. But if you can't get an image, you may have to use component cables from the Ps3 to the BMIP. Once connected to the BMIP, you can use HDMI to the HDTV. Watch my other video on how I have it setup. It's the video response.

  • HE'S WEARING ACG'S

  • @MethodzGaming Got popular around my area a few years back, I also have the foamposite goadomes.

  • i got an xbox360 and i got a computer monitor thats a 23inch HDMI capable so i play my games on the computer monitor can i get the black magic and be able to hook everything up to record?

  • @oOneglectOo Yea, HDMI from the 360 to BMIP(in) and another HDMI from the BMIP(out) to the monitor.

  • So, with the hdcp and all, can you connect your ps3 via hdmi and view the output, potentially recording it with FRAPS or another program?

  • @spartavcys Save yourself the headaches of wasting your time. Get a component cable to go into the BMIP.

  • All that cuzz USPS nip the box LoL plus it not like your going to keep the box? I know USPS does suck but if you do ship stuff put box in a box

  • @ghostman559 I still have the box.

  • ...guy mus really hate usp.

  • @Theselectable usp?

  • @Theselectable Ohh, USPS.. Yea, they're pretty bad with the way they handle my stuff.

  • @ThisGuyJohn hey can this be put into a laptop? That is the only thing as of now making me want an HD PVR more

  • @EGKGunner23 No this will not work with a laptop. You will need the external version of this that uses USB 3.0 and the obvious issue with that is almost no laptops have USB 3.0 yet. You'll have to use the HD PVR unless you have that one necessary feature.

  • a pbro please answer this ? would a black magic intensity pro work with a HP PC just want to verify this i have 1 hp desktop 4GB(RAM), 750Hard Drive, 64-Bit then i have another hp desktop 6GB(RAM), 750Hard Drive, 64-Bit let me know it it would work please i have HDPVR but might switch over to Black Magic Intensity Pro

  • @KpWGteam Stick to the PVR, because you will need to buy 2-4 new dedicated HDDs in raid0 if you want to record with the BMIP. Technically speaking, as long as you have one more PCI-e slot on your motherboard, yes. This card would work on your pc.

  • @ThisGuyJohn This card has been outstanding since I got it about 9 months ago. No problems with it. However, I could run circles around people as far as computer tech knowledge goes. However, I will say this. Buy the HD PVR if you are a retard. Buy it if you don't want HDMI quality. Buy it if you want to wait forever for your footage to get to your computer because its stuck on that device getting squeezed through USB. Plus, RAID 0 can be cheap now.

  • @RIEiiIGIN I refuse to use any of the latest drivers BM has released. As long as I continue to use ver 3.4, I'm happy with my BMIP as well. I've been testing out some streaming again lately as well. RAID 0 can be cheap, seeing as HDDs continue to get cheaper (thankfully) PVR is ehh, I haven't seen one in person, but it's a decent portable recorder since it's USB. Most people don't have USB 3 yet either, especially for laptop users. Either one has it's ups and downs. BMIP is incredible hardware.

  • @ThisGuyJohn The drivers I use now are the latest, 3.9. They work fine now. I'm using Win 7 64 bit and capturing mainly with Adobe Premiere Pro CS5. No problems with Media Express 2.2. Yes, USB 3.0 isn't mainstream yet. It will be but will take a little more time. HDDs are just starting to fully support that. A HD PVR using 3.0 will probably be awhile.

  • @RIEiiIGIN Either way, I only recommend this to people nowadays to who want to be serious about recording/streaming and are fine with spending extra cash for the better quality.

  • @IanDphotography Sorry for not taking down the note, but I've decided to keep my BMIP. I will be using it again much much more once I am able to upgrade to i7 and p55/x58.

  • lol at the top right corner i have the same thingy for my computer =)

  • @acogscopepwn haha nice :D

  • so it doesnt come with the two hdm cables?

  • @HatOfRandomness I had to buy my own.

  • Wait, so if I buy this, I can't use it on my PS3? D=

  • @SkinnyV7X You can, with component cables. Get ready to need like at least 2 (recommended 3 or 4) hdds in raid 0 because the drivers for this shit keep getting worse and worse needing more speed from your hdds. Agh.. Save yourself a headache and get a Hauppauge HD PVR or something.

  • @ThisGuyJohn really, that blows.

  • @JPiiiX Yea, I barely use it anymore. I need to boost up my PC's parts even more just to record in 1080p and I can't even stream online. It's really annoying, and one of the reasons why I'm selling it. Barely been used and still working perfectly, just that it's so demanding.

  • that smily face that popped up when you said you built your own computer made me giggle.

  • ok so blackmagic intensity can support 1080p video capturing? cuz other capture cards can only capture in 1080i and 720p. I've been trying to find one that can capture in 1080p. so can it?

  • @Blackdimond8000 With the newer drivers, yes. Do you have 4+ hdds in a raid 0? If you don't, then don't bother trying.

  • Looks like DVI not analog.

  • @Explodius1990 I assure you it is not.

  • ending = science ftw

  • Any S-Video in, it does not look like tt, this is said to be better quality?

    I think you dislike USPS

  • @Films4You You have to use the component cables and some other adapter I think

  • Hey! Im trying to dinf a new way to record PC gameplay footage. Thats why im asking: Can you connect a hdmi ouput from a computer and record that output on the computer that is runnig this capture card, Shot version: Can i record pc gameplay footage with this capture card with only one computer?

    Thanks!

  • @9sseMultiMedia Just use fraps, but if you must record your own PC using this card, yes you can. You just need to make sure you have your PC set to the 1280x720 resolution.

  • @ThisGuyJohn

I cant handle to game with fps drop, fraps, wegame, xfire etc.

    just make me very bad!

But, if i have a full-hd pc monitor can i then record in full-hd? "1920x1080"

  • @9sseMultiMedia for 1080 res you will need probably 4 or more hdds working altogether in raid 0. You need a pretty beefy PC to not have any issues recording.

  • @9sseMultiMedia i cant handle the fps drop with fraps, xfire, wegame or any toher freaking gameplay recorder!trust me i have tryed everything. but if i have a full Hd screen can i sett my pc/game to full hd then and then record in full hd?

  • how much does it cost? and can it record ps3 gameplay?

  • @1Rockyboxer1 $200usd and you need 2+ hdds in raid 0 to record properly

  • @ThisGuyJohn i got like 500 dollars, but in your you said it cant record ps3 gameplay due to copy protection

  • @1Rockyboxer1 You can using component cables into the BMIP. HDMI from the BMIP to the monitor. HDMI both ways only works on the 360.

  • how do you have the money for that badass pc, a ps3, an HD Camcorder, a Mac Pro (i think you said), and a black magic intensity pro? that is a LOT of money goin into that list

  • @ChromatiCHD Worked for it, went right back to broke ahahaha

  • i hate these unboxing videos because everyone is so damn cautious, I WOULD RIP THE FUCK OUT OF IT. lol

  • So you need 2 HDMI cords for capturing ps3, correct?

  • @iiHaZaRdl 1 hdmi, one ps3 component.. with the 360 you can do 2 HDMI

  • @ScrewYouCookie lmaoooo I see.. I'm still not able to really deduct if the problem is Vegas, not good enough hardware, a bad PVR box, or a mixture. It's too hard for me to give any real help from here. Sorry :/

  • @ScrewYouCookie If you want to know how I render my videos, check out my dual video tutorial (part2) and I show off what settings I use. Or you can just check out my friend CerealzTheDude's page and he has an entire video on his Vegas Rendering settings.

  • go to 2:52 to actually watch him unboxing it

  • @ScrewYouCookie It's definitely better, but it asks TOOOO much these days because of Black Magic's horrible writing of drivers. I used to be able to record brilliantly, but these days.. I decided to give up on it, unless it's still with me when I build an i7 PC.

    Have fun with the PVR.

  • how much?

  • You mean PS3>HDMI>C-Card>HDMI>TV/PC-monitor????

  • @TkNerfReviewz Doesn't work, PS3 has to use component (bl,red,gr) to the capture card. HDMI can go from the capture card to TV/monitor at that point

  • Can I record from the Ps3 this way? Ah wait - can I do this?

PS3 -> component cable -> component to vga (packaged with the pro) -> capture card

    ---

capture card -> hdmi -> pc monitor

I can switch inputs so thats no problem.

  • @phishthefish Yea, should work.

  • Damn.

    I have an All-In-One PC.

    So I don't have a DMI port...

    Fucking lame. ):

  • LOL at the ending.

  • 7777 views ...weird

  • what was the song at the end :D

  • @narutomena2 Shit I forgot, sorry.. Should've put it in the credits :c

  • nice ending :D

  • @VicTiMzZ1 ty bruh >:]

  • Brutal unexpected ending ftw..

  • @xInToxiic FTW >:]

  • hey so i cant record ps3 gameplay through HDMI?

i need to get ps3 component?

  • @UFOXERT correct

  • Ahhh so you cant even record the PS3's HDMI with these monster?

Then I supose it doesnt make sense if you just want it to record your PS3 right?

But I supose for recording from PC without slowing down framerate it is just fine.

  • @Maxaker67 It records the Ps3 just fine, I just use the component cables. HDMI from the BMIP to HDTV.
