You can't cancel from the web page anymore. They make you call & you have to give about 20 peices of information. My suggestion is to go to the store & by time cards that way they can't bill you over & over.
@GTA4Forever No! I found out how you can disable your LIVE Subscription on the webpage! It's kinda complicated, but it's possible. Go into your account, then click that think called something about yuor information, or some shit like that, then click on your one month gold, or 1 year gold, and then you can turn it off. Sorry if this didn't help, or if you didn't understand it. I'm from Denmark, so it's kinda hard for me to explain it to you that specificly :)

How about this. I played with an offline profile for years. When I got Xbox live finally I created a second, online account through which I downloaded DLC for a couple of my games (Mostly for ME2). However (Silly Desicion) I recently tried to put my previously offline profile online and ever since. If I'm not connected to the internet, my games report that the DLC content is either missing or corrupt, strangly it works fine when I'm connected to Xbox live. What happens if I cancel it?

Altering your credit/debit card details to invalidate them will stop Microsoft from taking an automatic renewal. The only minor downside that has come to my attention is that for about a week you will receive a message when you try to login to your account telling you to update your payment options. Just ignore this bullshite, you do that and you get a nice MS sausage up your ass and say goodbye to another £X for more golden knob gobbling membership.

Ok all you have to do is go to the site, after you log in there will be a little box that says my xbox and under that you click my account. Then you go to member ship level, it will have a button that says on. You then click on it and scroll down and click next like 4 times.After that it will have to bubble boxes that says "on", "off" you click off then click next and it will say " Sorry to see you go"

For the people that say you can't click the ON button...first you have to go to the left where it says MEMBERSHIP LEVEL. Click on that and then, on that page, you can click the ON button and "continue" your way past them trying to convince you to stay til you get the option to turn it to OFF.

@audisport Nah I called them off they said you can't do it anymore, the hyperlink has gone so you can't even get on the page where you keep clicking next...only way is to call them up. Its pretty stupid as they said it is only so they can inform customers of the latest perks that come with xbox live...

Ok all you have to do is go to the site, after you log in there will be a little box that says my xbox and under that you click my account. Then you go to member ship level, it will have a button that says on. You then click on it and scroll down and click next like 4 times.After that it will have to bubble boxes that says "on", "off" you click off then click next and it will say " Sorry to see you go"

I am from the UK ad this option to turn automatic renewal off has been disabled. BUT, I have stuck it to the fuckers at MS. In your "Manage payment options" I have removed all of my cards (wont let you remove them all but one) and added an old bullshit card that wont work with an invalid security number (3 digits on back) and when automatic renewal came along, suck my balls you MS fuckers no more money for you. I aint speaking to no Paki to get my renewal off, fuck 'em.

@EtMikkie click the ON for auto renewal (should be a link) then i was having troubles with this but i realized the thing i thought was an ad that would redirect me did not, there should be a button down at the bottom that says next and another that idr what it says, just keep clicking next, it should after like 3 "ad things" it should come to this screen where it has a bubble with yes and a bubble with no, and you wanna click on no and then click next again, and it should stop, hope i helped.

For the people that say you can't click the ON button...first you have to go to the left where it says MEMBERSHIP LEVEL. Click on that and then, on that page, you can click the ON button and "continue" your way past them trying to convince you to stay til you get the option to turn it to OFF.
