@HoosierMF Plea for Peace, Go Kart vs Corporate Giant vol. 2, and Fat Music Vol. 5 were key compilations for my self-discovery of punk. Along with "starter kit" albums from NoFx, Pennywise, 88 Fingers Louie, and Dead Kennedys, I made my way all across the board from 80's NY hardcore to 70's UK anarcho to 90's US crust/grind.... I actually just pulled "Plea for Peace" out of my closet a few minutes ago to reminisce on younger years and rip some songs for my college radio show...
