im looking for a pocket camcorder, that has interchangeable battery double aa, sd card slot option (32gig) with 4 gigs of internal memory, records in 1080p at 30 fps or 720 at 60 fps and 30 fps. i want it to be able to record up to 3 hours before changing batteries.
Can i record sound with it and is it good sound? Can i do some funny skit with it? i don't want to buy a camera for more then 300 dollars and i want to do skiing vids and skits!

The tv's that i tried it on are 92 cm diagonal (not hd) and 60 cm diagonal (also not hd). I have also tried it in 720 and 1080, but both didnt work out well. I'd like to be able to play my videos in hd on my television. Anybody knows whats's the problem?
So this leaves the Nikon AW100, Olympus Tough, and Sony waterproof cameras, as the only other affordable options. Yes, the tripod screws are supposedly hard, breakable plastic. But if the model survives its' critics, it may emerge as a better product for it. I wonder if these cameras are susceptible to EMP discharges. That may explain the malfunctions. I want an HD box camera with the old gun powder flash.
I LIVE IN A HUMID CLIMATE WHICH MAY HAVE CAUSED A PROBLEM..AND YOUR A FUCKING ASSHOLE WITH YOUR DIRTY HOME COMMENT . BUT WHATEVER I CALLED KODAK ,, THEY REPAIRED IT AT NO COST TO ME BECAUSE IT FELL UNDER ON YEAR WARRANTY ALSO THE PHONE IS NOT WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER FRIENDLY
This camcorder is great for "cam-in-hand" shooting, but if you want to mount it on a helmet or for extreme sport, Go Pro is much better because of the accessories, but it is possible with Playsport too.

Not removable battery is sooo stuupiiddd! It's supposed to be a SPORT cam. What's happening if you are skiing at the mountain or just playing outside far from an outlet and going out of charge? At cold temperature the battery last about 45 min and takes 2 hours to charge. I have the first model with a removable battery and a charger and i have to charge it 2 times a day. It's good to have 2 spare battery. If you leave the battery inside a car at hot temperature, the battery won't last 15 min.
@vent25kn The length of battery life is all to do with the "nimh" the higher the nimh the longer the battery will last, i had a kodak zx3 & the nimh of the battery was 950 so battery life wasnt great it was about average.. i now have the kodak zx5 & i use an 8gb class 10 sdhc card, the card ran out of memory before the battery died, the zx5 battery is 2x longer lasting than the zx1 or zx3 Kodak are not stupid, they obviously thought if battery non removable wel put a much higher nimh batt inside
@vent25kn I agree with you completely. The internal battery is the reason I wouldn't buy the ZX5. If it had 5 or 6 hours of continuous battery life, I would consider it. In the meantime, I don't see how this thing is all that much better from my ZX3. I got a package deal, which included a free extra battery and then I bought a couple of those el-cheapo batteries they sell on Amazon. They work great!

The battery back of the Zx5 is not changeable, I prefer the Zx3 its the same+it is cheaper

@iamcpreacher I don't know about night mode, but it does a mount for a tripod (you can see it on a gorillapod at :45).
