No one fully recovers from an acquired brain injury (ABI). Dustin is not actually fighting, he is existing with a diminished intelligence and mental capacity. Which begs the question: why in the hell did he let a man physically assault him not once, but on several different occasions, & stay in that situation? Sounds like domestic violence to me. Where were his friends and family when he was getting pounded & starved? Crazy. And I would not want to live like Dustin, death would be better.

Paxten was cruel beyond belief, Dustin is not his only victim, and we do not know what held him there until he was unable to escape on his own. Paxten may have threatened to harm or kill his family members, even his young daughter, did you think of that? As difficult as it is to imagine, it is incredibly amazing how positive Dustin is today!Good for him!

the creep that did this had a big smug smile in court with his arms casualy behind his head. most concerning is, that since he won't be convicted of murder, (even murderers can walk after 15 years thanks to Allan Rock) he might actually be out again someday hurting someone else. I hope he gets "dangerous offender" status and is caged forever. I suspect he has done things like this to other people, the level of cruelty is just unreal.
There's 2 good things that come out of this that we have a health care system that can take care of him without the family going into massive bankruptcy just to take care of him....

If your local newspaper and radiostation, tv station, has not been providing information on its news programs of this extreme case of cruelty,torture and assault etc, than I would be sending the link to my local station direct to them, to get there attention. This may help to generate donations etc in the future for Dustins cause when he needs it most for rehab etc.
Would it make sense as per Wormwood for everyone to send links of Dustins info to Dr. Phil, W5, 5th Estate, Ellen, Oprah, Geraldo etc. Perhaps the the more attention this gets nationwide, the harder it will be to hide when the time comes to actually making some arrests. Obviously, the law should not, and cannot disclose info because they are building a case, but the public can atleast be aware for everyone`s safety. Any opinions on this.

Dustins story tears at my heart. His courage to survive and to be positive is amazing. Please don't use this wall for negative issues, compared to what he has been through, do they matter? Let this wall be for words of strength and encouragement which is what Dustin deserves! We may never know the whole story, but if each of us can do one thing to make someone elses day better, I think it would make Dustin happy.

I can't begin to imagine the suffering not only of Dustin, but of his family. I don't know what the motive was for doing this, but whoever is responsible should receive the death penalty. If your local newspaper and radiostation, tv station, has not been providing information on its news programs of this extreme case of cruelty,torture and assault etc, than I would be sending the link to my local station direct to them, to get there attention. This may help to generate donations etc in the future for Dustins cause when he needs it most for rehab etc.

Would it make sense as per Wormwood for everyone to send links of Dustins info to Dr. Phil, W5, 5th Estate, Ellen, Oprah, Geraldo etc. Perhaps the the more attention this gets nationwide, the harder it will be to hide when the time comes to actually making some arrests. Obviously, the law should not, and cannot disclose info because they are building a case, but the public can atleast be aware for everyone`s safety. Any opinions on this.

They have an eye witness willing to point the finger and enough evidence to arrest. If this is the Hells Angels, they will probably turn the monster that did this into a snitch within the organization and then toss Dustin's case in favour of a larger one. It seems the only reason why the person who did this doesn't have his face all over the news. Well, I hope I just runied that plan. Regina Police - arrest the person (or people) responsible. Don't hold out. I think this is bad enough.

I wish this man well. It was very horrible what happened to him.And I don't care if he was or is not involved with people of less desirable character. No human being should ever be treated in this manner. I do really wish him well. Poor fella! I also hope the get the ones that did this!
