It annoys me that several of the characters seem to think that the only reason to act nice is the promise of a good afterlife. If you need to be bribed to act like a human being, you werent a good person in the first place.
-It's all part of the big illusion, that we perpetuate on ourselves, and in turn is perpetuated upon us. Like the rocket ship, or the shroud of Wally. When we believe, we ENGAGE the illusion. When we stop believing, we shatter the illusion, and shatter ourselves in the process, because we ARE part of it.
-Maybe you're right, maybe the mistake is in making the distinctions, "out there", "in here", "life", "death", it's all the same illusion.
@KikiStrike78 They didn't cancel, Matt Greoning Creator of the Simpsons bought out this shows production company along with others, and others so he could control all of the adult animated programming. He owns all the companies that makes the aniamted shows on Fox, he is like the Bill Gates of cartoons. He chooses which get cancelled and what shows stay on, the only rival is the adult swim cartoons on cartoon network, which is anime and Skull production shows. He is the why this show cancelled.
It's like a marriage between science and art... a very bitter marriage, the kind that stays together just to keep up appearances but deep down there's a deep level of rivalry and resentment and a longing to seperate.
That, or I'm just opening a can of worms and being silly as it's past midnight and it's been a LONG day. ;)
But I do think philosophy is great, great ending here...
I can't believe this show used to be on the "UPN Kids" network! This show is intelligently funny and deeply philosophical. No 8-year-old could understand this!

I wouldn't mind going to a cubicle with Wally. He's my favorite character after Dogbert and before Dilbert.

I hope these comments don't plunge into an endless argument. Scott Adams is an agnostic and probably wouldn't want his videos to end like that.

At the end of the episode, Dilbert and Dogbert talk about "the illusion". What exactly IS "the illusion"?
