The bunkai should resemble the kata at least. Should be able to watch a certain bunkai and know what kata the bunkai that is beening performing is from. I agree with almost all comments not true Goju. i was taught differently also and you are taught this kata or bunkai at green belt level.

With respect although the choreography was very well done I found it very difficult to see how the bunkai came from the kata saifa.
