I say this respectfully, it's just an observation....Adam is in Europe where they have a much more tolerant and free attitude. Europe is miles ahead in the acceptance & non judging categories. He'll tone it down once he gets back to the States where it's definitely more puritanical.
Adam gives the audience what they want and the majority want Tommy. Sorry. You are entitled to your opinion but since the level of screaming goes up every time Adam gets within 2 feet of Tommy I'm thinking he'll continue to do it. My opinion is that his vocal are untouchable and the music is awesome....but I watch the videos for the SHOW. And after +100 of them I'm not bored yet. I LOVE the Adommy action and the writhing around and just everything.

I'm not an adommy action shipper but I kinda don't care what Adam does on stage as long as he delivers those crazy vocals and high notes. I mean if he wants to kiss Tommy, fine by be, but the main thing why I'm watching Adam videos is his music and voice.
Is it necessary for all the sexual innuendo in practically every live performance by Adam? I am not a prude but I would enjoy a rock performance by Adam even more if he didn't blow a microphone or mimic handjobs or kiss Tommy. (no I am not homophobic before you accuse me of that) It strikes me as cheap and tawdry and becomes more about gimmicks than his singing & the music. Jimi set his guitar on fire and Robert Plant and Freddie just saaang. Singing talent speaks volumes not lewd actions.

@plmac13 I'm with you on this one! I am a huge fan of Adam, his performances, his voice but I have to say I am so disappointed by his disrespectful non-performance of PH. Jimi Hendrix is a Rock God, an Icon and one of the most mellow, laid back - he did not yell nor did he cay-yay. He sang. If he toked it was unobtrusive. NOT lewd, lacivious, cheap or tawdry....same with Robert Plant (still sexy) or Freddy Mercury (vocal genious). Adam wang-dang-doodling his way across Europe is ass-hat.
Agree with @plmac13 I am kind of obbessed with him but some of his performances lately are such turn off. It is vulgar and distasteful. He said it once that he will focus on the music only after the AMA debacle. I am so disappointed!

I think Adam is going more rock for the Glam Tour vs. Cd. I, and alot of his fans, were praying he would. The other stuff is too commercial. We need some more classics. Hope he covers Sweet Child of Mine. Angus, Tyler, Plant, that is where I hope Adam continues his legacy.

@SuperSweetipie Yeah, I read the same interview. I want him to do something original like that song that just blows up here in the states. I think it needs to be closer to rock than pop on his spectrum of ability. There's too much autotune pop here in America for his talent to be differentiated. He needs a killer song, like Starlight was for Muse to make him a real superstar. Until then, I will be happy seeing him in small venues for $75 a ticket!! Cant wait for the shows in Dec!!

Auto/techno pop is so boring already..and could be done by just about any so-so singers - and aren't we just so tired of them. And very true also about the need for a killer song/s. He doesn't have anything close to that on the debut album.
@rosale1swak considering he produced it in 3 months while on the road, i'd say its a strong effort, although his best vocal is Soaked, which isn't radio friendly. I think in the way he changed some of the songs in his live performance, such as the much harder rock edge to Sleepwalker and Sure Fire Winners (which I didn't even like on the album, but was good in concert), show that he can do better on the next album. Despite all that, I still listen to the album all the time!
@rosale1swak I think the suits at the record company will understand that for his second album. The Auto/techno thingie is what sells right now so they keep doing it but Adam changed a lot of the songs while on tour to what HE wanted and they worked. The people LOVED it. The suits will take note cause it's all about the money to them. The second album will be awesome.
I honestly wouldn't care if he turned out to be a pompous son of a bitch from all this publicity, though I doubt it. Because the more pleased he is with himself, the better his singing is.

Adam was so smart by interpreting "Kiss the Sky" his own way. I will never look at the sky the same way again... I can only imagine what it must have felt like to be in the audience for this 10min. masterpiece of an encore after such an exciting show. It was pure Adam - sexy, insane vocals and so charming with the banter in between. Paris was in for a real treat.
To a few posters complaining re change of lyrics = no biggie! "While performing Purple Haze for six performances in a row Hendrix, standing to the left of the stage, clearly pointed directly at Noel Redding standing to the right, & they both laughed & made a "thing" out of it, each time phrase came up & sang ".scuse me while I kiss this guy." Adam has total command of the stage. Genius using the "Kiss the Sky" phrase to the max & giving a "who-me?" look. He's having such fun out there fooling around with these encore songs. Light banter with the audience is so fun to hear, too! And what a voice, especially after about the 8 minute mark. Off the charts! And what an ending! He just oozes confidence and sex appeal. I've never seen another artist like him. Paris folks sure got their money's worth.

Again, if you don't like the cover, don't listen to it. Very simple. There are so many cover songs done everyday of classic songs I love, and many I don't care for. To those upset that Adam is too young/improvy/whatever to be rock, listen: you ought to be glad someone young is keeping these songs alive. Kids now think Daughtry is rock and that Beyonce has the best voice ever. There's an empty hole in their brains where the likes of Zeppelin and Aretha should be. I'm not an adommy action shipper but I kinda don't care what Adam does on stage as long as he delivers those crazy vocals and high notes. I mean if he wants to kiss Tommy, fine by be, but the main thing why I'm watching Adam videos is his music and voice.

Is it necessary for all the sexual innuendo in practically every live performance by Adam? I am not a prude but I would enjoy a rock performance by Adam even more if he didn't blow a microphone or mimic handjobs or kiss Tommy. (no I am not homophobic before you accuse me of that) It strikes me as cheap and tawdry and becomes more about gimmicks than his singing & the music. Jimi set his guitar on fire and Robert Plant and Freddie just saaang. Singing talent speaks volumes not lewd actions.

@plmac13 I'm with you on this one! I am a huge fan of Adam, his performances, his voice but I have to say I am so disappointed by his disrespectful non-performance of PH. Jimi Hendrix is a Rock God, an Icon and one of the most mellow, laid back - he did not yell nor did he cay-yay. He sang. If he toked it was unobtrusive. NOT lewd, lacivious, cheap or tawdry....same with Robert Plant (still sexy) or Freddy Mercury (vocal genious). Adam wang-dang-doodling his way across Europe is ass-hat.

I think Adam is going more rock for the Glam Tour vs. Cd. I, and alot of his fans, were praying he would. The other stuff is too commercial. We need some more classics. Hope he covers Sweet Child of Mine. Angus, Tyler, Plant, that is where I hope Adam continues his legacy.

@SuperSweetipie Yeah, I read the same interview. I want him to do something original like that song that just blows up here in the states. I think it needs to be closer to rock than pop on his spectrum of ability. There's too much autotune pop here in America for his talent to be differentiated. He needs a killer song, like Starlight was for Muse to make him a real superstar. Until then, I will be happy seeing him in small venues for $75 a ticket!! Cant wait for the shows in Dec!!

Auto/techno pop is so boring already..and could be done by just about any so-so singers - and aren't we just so tired of them. And very true also about the need for a killer song/s. He doesn't have anything close to that on the debut album.

@rosale1swak considering he produced it in 3 months while on the road, i'd say its a strong effort, although his best vocal is Soaked, which isn't radio friendly. I think in the way he changed some of the songs in his live performance, such as the much harder rock edge to Sleepwalker and Sure Fire Winners (which I didn't even like on the album, but was good in concert), show that he can do better on the next album. Despite all that, I still listen to the album all the time!

The Auto/techno thingie is what sells right now so they keep doing it but Adam changed a lot of the songs while on tour to what HE wanted and they worked. The people LOVED it. The suits will take note cause it's all about the money to them. The second album will be awesome.

Adam was so smart by interpreting "Kiss the Sky" his own way. I will never look at the sky the same way again... I can only imagine what it must have felt like to be in the audience for this 10min. masterpiece of an encore after such an exciting show. It was pure Adam - sexy, insane vocals and so charming with the banter in between. Paris was in for a real treat.

Adam has total command of the stage. Genius using the "Kiss the Sky" phrase to the max & giving a "who-me?" look. He's having such fun out there fooling around with these encore songs. Light banter with the audience is so fun to hear, too! And what a voice, especially after about the 8 minute mark. Off the charts! And what an ending! He just oozes confidence and sex appeal. I've never seen another artist like him. Paris folks sure got their money's worth.

Again, if you don't like the cover, don't listen to it. Very simple. There are so many cover songs done everyday of classic songs I love, and many I don't care for. Do I get my panties in a twist over them? Nope. I simply don't listen to them. :) Adam Lambert is an amazing vocalist and Monte Pittman is an extraordinary guitarist btw <3

To those upset that Adam is too young/improvy/whatever to be rock, listen: you ought to be glad someone young is keeping these songs alive. Kids now think Daughtry is rock and that Beyonce has the best voice ever. There's an empty hole in their brains where the likes of Zeppelin and Aretha should be. Their parents don't talk to them, much less share good music with them. We got Adam Lambert, and we got Glee singing what went before. That's it. Can we enjoy the music now, please? Thanks.
