To be honest, i can't imagine what ubisoft thought about bringing out this shit game. the prince in the games before was always serious, sometimes a bit funny, but not such an idiot. this is like prince of persia for young kids, when you compare it to the other parts.

the fights are actually also shit, you cant die at all, so why should i play this game serious ? oh i fall down? fuck that, princess saves me anyway.

the only good thing was the new acrobatic, like jumping on a wall and walk on it

@jokertubex Well, it's certainly fun to play. But I don't know how much it costs these days. If you liked to play the other prince of persia's, you should certainly play/buy it!

When the game is finished you can still go for all those light bulbs! So you'll spent many hours on it!

i thought the movie was actually very good, but it was very "Disney". The feel reminded me a lot of pirates of the carribean, and i don't think Jake was as bad ass as the Prince in the games.

Prince of Persia: Sands of Time is more of what the movie is based off, as thats also the movie's name. The stories are still different, but its got the same sort of plot. Sands of Time for PS2 was also an epic game by the way. Unlike this piece of crap lol.

@dextersf4 what do you expect from Ubisoft nowadays especially if it might be the same people who did AC makin it, you cant die in Assassin's Creed at all unless you fall from a building because the dumb game makes you think a Leap of Faith is there when it really isn't... only thing ya die from are from Leaps of Stupid Faith. Never from combat unless you just stand there for 5min LETTING them hit you. They makin their games all show these days

what is there to be confused about, all the Prince of Persia games have had one prince, from Sands of Time to the Two Thrones... this is the only Prince of Persia that has another prince, unless you count the earlier games of the series, like the ones for the nintendo.

@MrBilly0987654321 No this one came before it, it doesn't really have anything to do with the storyline that started in Sands of Time, it was like a side thing, the one based on the movie is called The Forgotten Sands and is set between Sands of Time and Warrior Within.

Renaming the series "Princes of Persia" might alleviate the problem of simply associating one prince to one mythological Persia, but the title "Prince of Persia" is already so iconic within itself, that changing it at this point would lead to even greater confusion amongst the players. Moreover, renaming this series something else wouldn't be in the best interest of Ubisoft marketing wise as this title already holds much weight and prestige.

I thought it was a great game, but i think it would probably work just as good under a different name, something other than Prince of Persia. After all the guy is not really a prince and it has nothing to do with Persia. Other than that I really liked it. Hope they make a sequel.

Well the lead character isn't a Prince as of yet, maybe he will become one later in the series. As for the game having nothing to do with Persia, it actually has a lot to do with Persian mythology. Don't tell me you haven't noticed that the whole tale is fashioned after the Zoroastrian faith system of ancient Persia.

@kayskreed Well, look at it this way, imagine if someone writes a new book called War and Peace, but it takes place in Afghanistan with a totally new storyline. I would personally find it confusing. Same here - too many princes. I think another title would work just as good.

I don't think that multiple princes hurt the series in any meaningful way. I would guess that these tales are not taking place at the same time in mythological history; therefore, it wouldn't be impossible for there to be many persons who in time become rulers of this fictional Persia.

Just because its supposedly in Persia and someone gets to be a prince they don't need to call it Prince of Persia, we already have such a game, same as we already have a book called War and Peace, we don't need two of them with different storylines. They could have called it something like Tales from Persia or whatever. It would work just as good and less confusing to newcomers.

elika makes the game different.I know this is a test in design,but elika seams just wrong,because it makes the prince want to take the big jumps and no other way and elika is....a distraction in the game.I know you ended the story with 2 throwns ,but pop was the only game series with that kind of gameplay,you started this parkur action and u just lost it.now it's just an average no logic running anime styled semi action game.the wall run is toooo slow and elika does not fit in the game style
