  • We have a video showing how to make butter in less than a minute using Waring's food processor. So, imagine you are in a dark alley and someone says "I have some heavy cream, and if you don't make butter for me within the next minute, some bad thing will happen to you." What do you do? If you have this stand mixer, you will be out of luck. If you have a Waring food processor with patented LiquiLock and whipping disc, you will be just fine.

Check out our channel to see it in action.

  • How would you make honey butter or garlic butter? I can kinda figure out the honey butter, but how would you make the garlic butter without there being little chunks of garlic in there? Like for making garlic toast.

  • I don't want to sound cynical but why do this? It kind of reminds me of a guy I knew. He would drive twenty miles out of his way to save a penney a gallon at the gas pump. How is that economical. Time in and of itself has a value also albeit different from person to person. I'll continue to buy butter at the market, save wear and tear on my Kitchen Aide, save a little on ekectricity and clean up time...

  • @cabritorsss he likes the flavor of homemade cause homemade is usually better dumbass

  • @DavidKilbourne Right away with the name calling. This guy opened himself up for comment by posting his video. You, on the other hand should go back and aplogize to your Father for having to raise you as your real father was some guy your mom met at the local porno shop.

  • Your camera got buttered : )

  • Oh geez....now I gotta go buy a KitchenAid. Grrrrr. After watching two videos where KitchenAid mixers were used, looks like that is the way to go. Am getting goats next month and will try this with their milk!!! Nice to see a man in the kitchen (esp doing something way out of the box like making butter!!)..... :) Good job, man.

  • jizzed on your screen

  • I usually don't comment but I just wanted to take the time to thank you for posting this video. I was hoping there was a way to do this with my mixer. I'm really excited to go and make some now!

  • 1 hater= Some lazy fatass who doesn't like to experiment by making his/her/it's own butter for at least 1 time. XD

  • Comment removed

  • can you drink the butter milk

  • I sew clear vinyl covers so u can see and operate lever but not splash, let me know if u would like me to make one, message me for my email address.

  • is your video showing how to make 100% butter

how much % is you butter

  • Whats the difference in the artisan mixer and the normal? I loved the butter.. cant wait to make it

  • how long can butter be stored out of a fridge for?

  • I tryed making butter the night before I watched this video and it exactly work. I used double cream any suggestions? The cream just became thick and thats it, it didn't seperate.

  • thanks so much. that helps a lot. :)

  • this guy is totally clumsy. but the butter looks sooooo good! i love it!

  • Nice tip on switching to the beater blade. I'll start getting raw milk next week and need ideas for what to do with the cream. I only remember making butter as a child by shaking a mason jar. But why not let my Kitchenaid do the work, right? Never knew butter needed washing either. Thanks!

  • It's easier to just shake it in a jar

  • Stop crying about crisis and make 30K a month at GetRichEasy . Us

  • mmmmmm buttermilk. make biscuits!

  • Thank you so much for this. I just bought my first raw milk today and didn't know what to do with the cream. Friends suggested making butter, but I had no idea how. I found your video, and alas! you even have the exact same mixer as I. You made it so easy for me. Thank you thank you thank you.

  • i do not see manufacturing cream at the store. i may of passed it without noticing.

  • whats the different between milk and cream... i want to make my own butter, can i just use milk?

  • @kurokamei Cream is what you get right from the cow. Its alil thicker and has a richer taste than milk. Milk is made when they process the cream and make it more refine and cream is what yogurt is made from. But if you want to know what cream is just when you go to your grocerie store ask a clerk to show you cream and then you will know :)

  • @BlackSkullz09 That is so wrong that it isn't even funny.

  • that's really cool. i have to try that. :D

and that splash of butter on the camera lens keeps making me want to wipe my spectacles. xD

  • Get the Cow's milk (Organic) before it reaches in the market, fresh from the farm, and butter can be made easily, take half a liter milk pour it in the blender crush few ice cubes add put them in the blender along with salt to taste and blend, repeatedly, and every time you stop you'll see the butter floating on the surface, collect it and run the blender again, until the milk taste sour and become thin. That's the best way to get the " 100% PURE" butter. I get my butter, at home, This way

  • @supportbuster

Raw Milk? That's illegal in Canada, it's near impossible to get.

  • @thedarkone2134 why is milk illegal in Canada?

  • @spritgirl11 Not store bought milk. Raw milk directly from the farmer.

  • @thedarkone2134 oh okay

  • oh you get it at lucky 1 dollar store

  • You, sir, have the BEST how-to-make-butter video on You Tube. Bravo!

  • Thanks for dirtying up your kitchen so we could see it[=.

  • Thanks a lot for shearing healthy ways to adapt our city live style to good, healthy life style.

This butter tastes great, no preserves, added casein, etc.

I made HM butter for 10yrs and, changed my eating habits back to "grandmas home cooking style.

I also purchase Organic grains from the farmer to make homemade flour, bread, pasta, cakes, lasagna, etc.

Technology helped save time & money to take back in our hands the really needed control of our deteriorated health.

  • @CantFndaName all flour and grain products will hurt your heath. Doesn't matter if they are organic or not.

  • @andriante Thanks for responding. I agree with you. *It is enough evidence about that.

Doing it organically means that you get the whole vitamins spectrum instead of the BLEACHED commercial flour with added supplements after their final product; also you eat a lot less because your body knows the difference between your HM Flour and Commercial flour and gets satisficed sooner.

  • Where can I get that Manufacturing Cream? I don't think I've ever seen it at the store...

  • The Instructables link in the sidebar is the actual "How To". Click on it to read all the details.

  • ok thanks!

  • cool! i just ordered my 1st kitchenaid artisan mixer off ebay. i'm getting it tomarrow and this is one of the first things i'm going to try and make. my husband will think it's neat and hopefully will realize i can do alot of things with this mixer and that i wasn't just wasting money lol. now i'll be really impressed if you could make a vegan butter - i'm lactose intolerant just a bit and cream really does a number on me.

  • You are going to have a lot of fun with it.

Now don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure all of the lactose stays with the buttermilk and all you have left in the butter is the fat. If I'm correct then complete rinsing is going to be important to you. Don't stop until the water is clear.

I'm just guessing though. Maybe a scientist will confirm it.

  • Very interesting! Just got a Kitchen Aid ice cream attachment and was looking for videos on using it and came upon your video. Looks easy. :-) Thanks!!!

  • I have the Ice Cream Freezer. It is great. I wrote an Instructable and even filmed it making ice cream but it needs to be edited as it takes 20 minutes. I need to find a free program that can fast forward part of the video. Any ideas?

  • Maybe if you could pour the ice water before placing the beater down it would be a whole lot easier!

  • Great video! How much does the butter harden when you refrigerate it? If I remember correctly store bought butter has some additives that make it harder and hold it's shape. Wasn't sure how homemade does when cold.

  • @focusonthegreen I don't think it needs additives to be stiff. This is very stiff. It is pure butter fat.

If you look at the Instructable linked from the description you can see photos of it when I molded it into little ducks.

  • Hey just an idea, why don't you get a splatter cap. I think it'll fit, pretty sure there aren't any modifications that've been made that'll affect the fit.

  • I do use one normally. I just left it off for the filming so you could watch what was happening.

  • Your video goes far beyond showing how to make homemade butter or how to use the mixer for cool things... it teaches laws of physics! Very interesting... Thanks!

  • What an awesome comment. Thanks!

  • Is it possible to make butter from coconut cream?

  • That would be coco butter I'm pretty sure. We are just separating the oil/fat out and coco butter is a oil.

  • i've discovered that coconut butter works perfectly as a butter substitute in any recipe

  • I've been dying to get a kitchen aid stand mixer; when I watched your video, I fell in love!

  • It is an awesome machine. Holiday sales should start soon.

  • Thanks for taking the time to make this video and shareing with the public.

  • You are welcome.

  • very good video, I will try it. thank you

  • Thanks

  • why don't you put some cling film/Plastic wrap around the top of the mixing bowl, that way no splats :)

  • There is actually a clear plastic spatter shield but I wanted you to be able to clearly see what was happening in the bowl.

  • oh ok sorry i have no idea, i have always wanted a kitchenaid but there so expensive, now you just made me want to get one even more lol

  • Love it! I just successfully made my first batch of mayo today. I think I'll try homemade butter with my Kitchen Aid tomorrow! Thanks!

  • Cool. Thanks.

  • Ever heard of Land O lakes? Too much work for so little yield. Does it taste that much "fresher" than just getting butter from the store?

  • that's what i was thinkin :). would be good if you're retired i guess and really bored

  • I find it funny that you thought it was a waste of time when you just watched a ten minute video on how to make butter --- but you don't want to make butter. hahaha / jk

  • you may have a point there :)

  • You can make as much as you want, depending on the size of your mixer. So 'yield' really isn't an issue.

  • nice job! Thank u~~

  • Thanks

  • KOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLL

  • Thank you for posting!

  • Glad you like it.

  • cant u use milk?

  • Most of the butterfat is already removed from milk.

  • awesome, just what i was looking for

  • cool

  • look... the cam lense has butter! hahaha... in the middle part of the vid... you can see it at the upper part of the screen!

  • Yep, that's buttery goodness on the camera lens. Definitely use the splash guard.

  • cool stuff! i actually want to try this. i liked the running commentary (e.g. you want to rinse the butter so it won't spoil easily)

  • corbier111

    he's "quiet" clumsy???

i suppose that's better than loud clumsy

  • What's "cream"?

  • "slatka pavlaka" in serbian. hope that helps.

  • Good demo. Nice detail on every step. Not every video has that.

  • Thank you!

    Nice video... and funny too...

    you're quiet clumsy... ;)

  • Awesome dude. can't wait to get my mixer.
