  • This was BRILLIANT. Loved it!

  • I haven't seen the musical, but I'm in a community production of the straight play. I've heard the musical version is terrible, but I can't make such a judgement without actually seeing it.

Of course it looks cheesy, it's a farce. Farces are cheesy. All the jazz hands and tap dancing? It's set in the 30s, musicals were like that then and they're trying to evoke that.

  • Saw this and loved it! I'm 12! Great for all ages!

  • this is a great show!!! highly recommend it!

  • I hope it comes to the US soon!

  • Mathew Kelly and the cast were brilliant!!

    Would happily go again...!!

Im not usually a musical theatre person, but loved it from the beginning.

Quirky Jokes and Innuendos to boot, but all tounge in cheek good fun.

Great to go and see, would happily recommend it to anyone. (Mathew Kelly! you owe me a beer mate!!)

  • Went to see this tonight, absolutley hilarious!!

Anyone watching this and dont laugh , well then you have mental problems...!

  • surprised to see so many neg comments about this... sounds cool to me! Better this than more Shrek The Musical etc?!

  • I'm not even going to look into seeing this one!

    xD

  • my god. this looks like everything i hate about musicals roled into one. jazz hands?!?! really?!?! interesting side note though the md is a woman beating prick

  • This looks awful. The music is seems likes something ive heard before. I saw the 2010 revival of the play on Broadway. This pales in comparison.

  • they stopped avenue q for THIS?

  • @BlueRowan No. This has nothing to do with that. Avenue Q moved to the Wyndham's before closing. The Gielgud has hosted several other productions since that time. Including HAIR and currently UMBRELLAS OF CHERBOURGH.

  • @BlueRowan No, this "show" is on at the Gielgud Theatre - Avenue Q was on at the Wyndham's Theatre when it closed.

At the Wyndham's Theatre currently is a play called 'Much Ado About Nothing' staring Catherine Tate and David Tennant.

  • @BlueRowan

Don't mock Lend me a tenor til you actually see it.

    I thought it was great.

  • can't wait to see this :)
