Of course you would have to keep in mind where the swimming will take place. If at a pool, probably should find a material that will survive. In a lake, most shirts should do it.

This is so the wrong fabric for a bathing suit, when it gets wet its gonna look like you crapped in it! The heavy fabric will be weighed down with water. Cute design but use at least a lighter weight stretch fabric.

The thing is girl need padding for protection so it won't look seeped through. This is great but you should get swim suit fabric and some type of padding for comfort etc..

Way too fast, also a swimsuit has a spandex type fabric. Also the breast needs bads or something for support...ahh Using a boy's polo will not be a swimsuit that I would want to swim in. It's very cute, but I wouldn't make it. I would just find a swimsuit and make some changes. :)

@ florencelovme: I love those so-called "paleolithic" bathing suits - they tuck you in, make you look curvy even when you're naturally a stick, and make you look leaner when you're naturally thick. They help make a pin up look when you've done nothing but throw on your bathing suit. I get tired of seeing muffin tops hanging out everywhere. Vintage style FTW!
