  • she can do whatever see wants ;)

  • do you shuffle after each shoe ??

  • wtf is all this plus shit 4?!what is the point i dont get it

  • Very simple people, The higher the number the more you bet. The lower the less you bet. If you get caught they will kick you and you could be banned. Unless you're good they will find you out when you bet $5 for half hour then change over to $200 when you get a high number :)

  • where is part 2!

  • also how does the point system help us

  • do u have a better quality of that table

  • Mui interesante

  • 21...

  • 5:26 you're wrong, it's +1

  • @KaKaGaNu try counting right

  • @harrowrudeboy that 6 club is low card.hence, after 0 queen of diamond, it should be +1

  • How do you know when to bet?

Im okay at the counting system but I just dont understand how this makes you win, how you can make a lot of money on this and how this helps you know whats going to come up?

  • So when I was stuck and I couldn't draw another card cause it would've most likely go over 21 I would pressure with money and didn't let them think so they would quit

  • if you use the card count correctly, you have higher chances/probability of either winning, or getting your money back, which are both good things, especially in Vegas. Don't use the count values to see if you're going to win or not. If the card count is very high (+4 or more), bet more because your chances are more you'll win or keep the money. Count is low=bet less. Count severely low, especially consistently=leave the table for a little while until the table is "hot" again.

  • Referring to Erroronusername, and a few other comments on here, card counting doesn't show you the odds of winning or losing, although you can mentally calculate that yourself if you are so talented to do so. Card counting affords you the advantage of knowing when to bet large and small. A high count=higher probability of larger (face value) cards going to be dealt=higher probability dealer will bust because they must hit on every value up to 16 (17 some places)..So you'll want to bet more

  • Hot blonde lol

  • where is the rest of the video? how does this help you?

  • @SalsaShoeProductions Hey Renata, i think you bet on positive but I am not sure. Here is a video on why it works: youtube.com/watch?v=gZxDhb0Dwd8&feature=related

    Sub back please. Thanks

  • its not possible anymore in the cassinos right?

  • @ErrorOnUsername i know it never explained the point of that, what's the point!

  • Blackjacks incredible secret site: bkk.nn.cx

  • does it matter if there are 6 decks ?

and also what if you play spanish 21 ? is spanish 21 better than blackjack ?

  • @l1998

    Nope. Spanish anything isn't better.

  • but i dont understand ? so wat if u kno the count ? how does that help u win ?

  • @ErrorOnUsername you bet more when the count is high and less when it is low, and if the deck is really cold (i.e. the count is very low) you can even consider moving to another table.

  • @dieselboy87 But dude if the count is still high. You still have a chance to lose. so is just a matter of luck i guess.

  • @ErrorOnUsername It doesn't, you just know IF you will win, it also helps you decide if you want to hit or stat

  • @ErrorOnUsername /watch?v=gZxDhb0Dwd8&feature=related here it explains

  • @ErrorOnUsername watch the documentary

  • @ErrorOnUsername Because if you know what the count is, then you know which cards are more likely to come up, increasing your probability of winning.

If the count is +3, roughly you know lots of low value cards have been delt, so a high value card is more likely to be drawn.

There's ALOT more to it though, the more you practice, you will naturally suss it out making links to what counts mean what. Just takes time. I'm not a counter but that's how I've always understood it.

  • @ErrorOnUsername It helps you know what cards are more likely, as a high count means most of the low cards are out of play, and there are more high cards. it is more of a predictive strategy

  • Comment removed

  • @ErrorOnUsername yeah, i agree with you , how the f#%@ does it helps you win ?

  • @ErrorOnUsername *sigh*

  • @ErrorOnUsername The higher the count is the more likely high cards are to come up. So if your counting with a high count and u have an 11 ur gonna want to double down because you know it is very likely that you are gonna get a card worth 10. Make sense?

  • @ErrorOnUsername When the count is high you bet high and win more money

  • @ErrorOnUsername probability i guess

  • Thumbs up if you were watching hangover and wanted to learn how to count cards

  • @706kid1 lol i was i actually asleep and was thinking about that part of the movie, so i got up to learn :P

  • won 20 grand at vegas thanks to this

  • Comment removed

  • I don't get it! How does counting these cards help you win? How do you now when to hit or stay? Does the number you have counted help you chose?

  • i dont understand if its + something how do you know weather to hit or not?

  • Can some1 tell me does the decks effect on the card counting i mean if you play 1 deck or 8 ? and how can you know how much decks are playing in casinos .. thx

  • ok I dont know if I missed the part in the video but what the hell do I do with the count ? lets say I have a count of +3, is that good or bad? what does it tell me ?

  • @iown4ever , How higher youre count, how more the chance is for you to catch high cards! becouse a low card is +1 and a high -1, so if you have +15, i't wil means that you have get a lot of low cards..

  • what if you have a ace and a four and you double down and you get a ace what do you do?

  • @sireyellow you get under the table, suck the dealer's cock and beg for mercy :O

  • I really love blackjack Actually it is the only casino game you can beat house. I have made over 21000$ in a week. You want a cue: It is not how you play ity it is how you bet!

  • is there a website like pokerstars where you can play blackjack instead of poker? please reply, thanks

  • @IceShrapnel for money dunno yet but for fun and practice facebook has blackjack that i use to study

  • @BoSoxnation1972

    priceless....lol

  • pause it at 7:04, how is the count zero? if you add up the count as he deals it doesn't amount to zero. can comeone explain how he gets zero?

  • @IceShrapnel look at da pairs...dey all cancel out except for da 9(counts as a zero) so da 10 nd da dealers 5 cancel out making it zero...da others cancel out kuz da pairs r +1 and -1

  • @BoSoxnation1972

if i won 10 grand on one hand of blackjack...it wouldnt top this jokers post.....lol

  • @BoSoxnation1972

you know this is going on my page....skippy....lol

    lol

    lol

  • why hi lo is important, i dont understand

  • @NOMELEMBE The hi-lo enables blackjack card counters to know when the deck/shoe is filled with plenty of 10 value cards and aces. 10's and aces are more valuable to players than they are to the dealer. This is because the player can stand on less than 17, double down, and split in favorable situations where the dealer cannot. The dealer is restricted to hit until he/she reaches at least 17 or goes bust. However, the high lo method is useless if you don't memorize basic strategy.

  • "Using the chart is legal and even encouraged."

Lol. What casinos have this guy been to? Not the ones in my area.

  • what if the player gets an ace and a king which means a blackjack, do we still need to count it as -2 ?

  • where can I find the rules for when to or not to bet

  • Great video guys! Spells out basic strategy for newbies. Although card counting is a waste of time with modern automated shuffled decks of cards.

  • We actually want cards that count -1 or +1?For our personal playing.

  • i thought this was illegal in casinos....

  • @Pepsimaximo1 Illegal? No. But it will get you banned if you're good at it, since unlike professional poker, your money's coming directly from the casino.

The dirty little secret, though, is that casinos *like* card counters in general, exactly because most of them *aren't* good at it, so what happens is they think they'll come out ahead in the long run and end up losing their shirts.

  • @IoEstasCedonta Ahh I see, that makes sense. thanks

  • @Pepsimaximo1 Card counting is not actually illegal, but most casinos will kick you out if they catch you doing it. It's just playing the game incredibly well.

  • gonna try to learn this. go to school and win me a chicken dinner

  • when do i DOUBLE DOWN ?

  • @patwinnelor You can find a basic strategy chart online. It tells you when to double down. However, I can give you some basic rules. Always double down on ten when the dealer's upcard is less than ten. Always double down on eleven when the dealer's upcard is less than eleven. Always double down on a pair of fives (do not split fives), when the dealer's upcard is less than ten. You also double down on a 9 vs dealer's card of 3-6. Use your chart for when to double on ace/small card combos.

  • im fucking lost bro

  • @estbroadway where you from bro? Sounds like you may be from NZ?

  • @weazzy89 mid west....y

  • @estbroadway oh nothin, i'm from Auckland , New Zealand and i thought you were too lol. Cos your slang sound like NZ, soz man lol. I am also lost as fuck bro.

  • Could someone please answer me this, sorry i'm just a bit confused. So the higher the count eg +3 to +8 means the Higher the card will be eg. 10-Ace? and the lower the count 0 to -9 means the lower the the card will be, eg. 2-6. Is this count predicted only towards the dealer? meaning after all players have finished, its the dealers turn. Or its the very next card in the deck when the dealer finishes dealing?

  • @WTFmikool

I think dealers, since players compare their cards to dealer.

  • @WTFmikool The count is a dynamic thing. It is always changing. The count changes as hands are being dealt. If you are being dealt the first hand of a freshly shuffled deck or shoe, and most of the cards that have come out are lower than seven, that makes the count high, giving you information for your bet.

  • I know a website that offers a secret code that produces 65% success ratio. Go check them out and make as much money as you want. Google blackjacksecretcode

  • Where is the rest of the video?

  • Black jack is a way addictive game and counting cards makes it more interesting so does the casino card thing

  • I guess the lies of this world will never end. We went to the moon, we evolved from Apes, USA is a free country, and Card Counting works. Sorry, none of the above is true, just more absurd lies. I guess that's the way this world is, just filled with nothing but a bunch of lies, for the sheep to believe and follow. If anybody wants to listen to a scientist I discovered the Blackjack Secret Code in 1988, and now I'm teaching it.

  • ok so i dont know that much about this yet, but this is a very basic system and i have a hard time believing that a cardcounting team from MIT would prefer this as opposed to a more complicated (and more accurate) system for counting. as i said though i'm far from an expert on this.

  • Now our area casino plays with multiple decks at a time, does this change the counting strategy or make it not work as well?

  • Its easy in theory a little harder in practice. Especially when you have some drunk bimbo at the table screaming in your ear while your trying to count. Just my personal experience. Although it works when you can find a nice quiet table.

  • If the number is a positive that's usually good for you right?

  • What does the count tell you?

  • I'm so confused right now. I don't even know what just happened.

  • It's not counting cards. Its calculating cards.

  • @TitanCardsxxx Both

  • let say last game was +5 do u continue count the next game? or u go back to 0 and count from 0?

  • The first hand looks jinxed!

    (bit.ly/CassandrasCasinos)

  • dude looks like an old version of that actor from the hangover and A-team movies

  • winner winner chicken dinner.

  • if the decks are 6 i have more posibiliites to win if the count is +... than if the decks are 2 or 3 and the count +...?????????

  • Is it just me or have I never encountered anything higher than a +5

  • go to 3.50 in this video!there are 2 same fives!how many decks are there?

  • @paoki66

some casinos use as many as 2 to 5 five decks, all randomly shuffled in a shoe. So yes, it is possible.

  • @paoki66 prolly 6, that's fairly standard.

  • so you got 2 cards that are exactly the same? 4:05

  • ok thank you for your answer! But i have one more question! With How many decks is this truly!?

  • From what I get from the counting part. The higher the count is; the more favorable the table is to the player. Making it a lot easier to get blackjacks and doubling down and aggresive playing?

  • may i suggest that everyone with a question spends a little bit of time reading previous comments. Many of the questions I see are ones that have been answered several times already. Quickly reading previous posts will save everyone time :)

  • I cant understand a few things!First of all,i must begin from zero each time or from the previous count? For example, if i the count is +2, i will begin from the zero or from +2 on the next hand?Secondly,I understand the values but why i have an advantage to the casino if i have +! I think that it means that there are + high cards in the deck! I cant understand! What do this tell me?

    Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • guys, the higher the number the more of a chance you'll get better hand. +4 means that there are less low cards in the deck which are favorable for the dealer. -4 means there are less high cards in the deck which are favorable for the player.

  • thankss, this actually helped me out alot ! :D although i do agree with the top comments. i dont understand what ti do with the count o.O

  • thankss, this actually helped me out alot ! :D

  • Been using the plus minus system since forever!

  • It is very obvious. When the count is high, bet more. When it is low, leave.

  • You can make supplementary income editing & writing articles,

PM ME TO FIND OUT MORE

  • For all the people that don't know where to go from here... The count of the cards means the likelyhood that you'll win your next hand. The higher the number the better your chances of winning, if you end with 0 or lower you need to sit out the next hand until he shuffles or you get to +2 or higher. +1 is hit or miss. In a casino it may be an issue to sit out 4 hands, then bet 100 on the fifth, win, and sit out the next three though.

  • Does anyone know any online Blackjack games that actually use up the whole deck?

I know several Blackjack games online but they always insist on mixing the cards after every single round for some reason, so I can't practice card counting on them.

  • Ever tried betterthangambling com ?

  • I watched 21 today on FX.... I wanna learn!

I'm confused... What does the count mean?

  • @OneHumpedCamel haha dude me too.. thats the only reason im looking it up

  • @basebll61 same here loooooooooool

  • cool!! now what dumbass

  • count is useful because the closer u r to the number 21.........the greater are the chances of your winning.......so if ur counting.....u know other player's count.....if his count is higher than urs....u bet lower......and vice versa

  • Is he the dude from Weeds? He looks sooo much like Isabella`s father.

  • When the count goes over 10, then the deck is getting hot. Its then time to start bidding higher.

  • Also when do I apply the term "soft" or "hard"?

  • @Alicaint a soft 15 would be an Ace and a 4, a hard 15 would be a king and a five.

  • @cfcolly Thank you.

  • Valid question- what happen's when the aces are used as low cards, does that change anything, aside from the amount of aces left in the shoe, or does this method remain the same?

  • the voice of the narrator sounds like Alan from The Hangover lol

  • @theepicpowner it depends on what you have. if the counts say +5, that just means the next card is probaly going to be higher. if its -5 then next card will probally be lower. the higher the count the higher the next number, the lower the count the lower the number. it really doesnt take a genuis, im only 14:D

  • this is much harder to do in casino cuz the dealer alwais has his eyes on u and that makes you intenese but with some practice you could play with the best GOOD LUCK :DDD

  • How can you tell how much decks are being used?

  • @nintendokings Sometimes for example my local casino in brighton there is a notice on the table saying Min and Max bets and how many decks, Might not happen all over?

  • I get drunk and gamble!

    (bit.ly/CassandrasCasinos)

  • ok i learned to count the cards but now how do i apply it? what does it mean when at the end the count is for example 2 or -1 or 0. WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

  • @kaushu400 The lower the count, the more likely the next card will be low. the higher the count, the more likely it is that the next card will be high. as for 0, its nuetral.

  • @ryanhannahfan Gotchu! Thanks. You rock buddy!

  • @kaushu400 No problem ;)

  • the first one the count was +1

  • Why is the count at 7m:43s + 1 ? Can anybody help me ?

  • @dirkieee queen, queen, jack, ace, 10 are all -1. so thats -5. 3, 3, 5, 5, 2, 6 are +1. so thats 6. the other cards dont matter and are 0. so QQJA will negate 3 3 5 5 2 leaving it at 0. but theres still a 6 making it +1

  • been countin cards for years, one time got caught, security took me out back and slid a baton in my rectum...my advice dont do it

  • @imcalledjon you're lying.....they didn't do that

  • he explains that a 6 is worth 1, but when he does that fast hand, he counts it as zero... wtf?

  • @Randyolsson, that was becuase he was grouping them up, so it was easier for him to count. In the hand with the 6, there's a Jack aswell, which is -1 and then the total of that hand is 0. It's simply for faster counting.

    2-6=1

    7-9=0

    10-A=-1

    =)

  • I love how the movie '21' makes it out that you have to be a mathematical genius to count cards, when in fact anyone with a brain can do it.

  • @drfred26 Not everyone can do it well though.

  • I get the counting part but how do I know when I should bet big n stuff. When sum1 has an answer email me at. Emailm51@yahoo.com

  • when the chick asks if she can surrender the guy calls her sir

  • These are the worst pointers I have ever seen or heard

  • These are the worst pointers I have ever seen or heard

    Priscilla @ (bit.ly/PriscillaPlaysPoker)

  • around 5:30 when the dealer give the "player" a card, i thought i've heard "fk you" lol

  • This is a pretty good, very simple system.

The guy who is talking should never, ever be allowed to speak though.

    Such a boring voice.

    Terrible jokes too.

"I wish that dealer would get his big head out of the way, *chuckles to himself*"

    Just terrible.

  • What do the running counts mean to you though? I understand the values but what do the numbers tell you?

  • @mxkid912

Depends on the system. For hi-lo, you press one unit for every number your plused. So, if one unit is $10, and the running count is +1, you bet $10.

    +2 : $20

    +3 : $30

    and so on.

At zero, bet the minimum. Any negative count, bet the minimum. The caveat is to not draw attention to yourself however. If you're playing at a hundred dollars a hand, and suddenly you're better $10 when you have alot of black and lavender chips, the Pit bosses will take note of your play.

  • @IDBTitanosaurus ok IDBT i get what your saying, but can you just play based on the running count? dont we have to convert to the true count by dividing the running count by the number of decks we estimate were played? most games these days use 6-8 decks. Is it possible anymore (was it ever?) to play based on just the running count?

Also, dont shuffling machines make card counters useless? and cutting the decks after a shuffle?

  • @mxkid912 u have to divide the running count by the number of decks yet to be dealt to get the true count. if the true count is +2 bet hard

  • @mxkid912 The Value tells you if the deck is hot or not if the count is +3 that means that the deck is favored towards the player but if itis -3 then the deck is favored towards the house

  • @mxkid912 the higher the count the more are the odds in your favour

  • @mxkid912 Well, you know that if you say +15 and your near the end of a 5 deck play, the odds of a 10 point card are high

  • @mxkid912 for example, if the count is +7. Than the odds of getting 10,J,Q,K,A are much higher because all the low cards are out. So if the count is high at the beginning of a round than bet high and test your luck, because your probably going to get 2 royals

  • @mxkid912 well, you should do a true count before beting high, divide the runnung count by the number of deckes, if the true count turns out positive, you should bet higher because the odds are favorable to you.

  • @mxkid912 the higher the count the more likely it is for the dealer to go bust

  • pokerview is open to us players as well
