Sacred Stones is by far the cheapest fire emblem game. You can train your characters to max level before moving onto the next chapter. Gay... Not challenging at all.

@DeiTy4GuiTar Well, yeah, that's true. The thing is, the free training is so much more accessible in FE8. You're given free reign over the map, including creature encounters and the Tower/Ruins, so it's almost to be expected that the player will train everyone up an obscene amount. Of course, it's much more challenging (in any of the GBA games) to go without the free training, and strategize your attacks to get the best experience you can.

FE8 is an entry-level game. Want hard? Try FE6. :)

i noticed a debate on magic users and snipers, one snipers have a better crit rate than casters and better evasion not to say they dont have weaknesses. casters are good for their ability to also attack at close range and have a large variety of tomes which do dif things but take this example for why they both need each other. a caster is not gonna do jack shit to a peg knight that peg is gonna whipe the floor with the caster. general gonna rape sniper use the buddy system

okay the longbow is a good weapon but not quite good enough. Magic users render Snipers obsolete as they can attack up close so they are more usable. Of course if you are a good tactician you won't need worry about snipers getting attacked because you'll make sure to get them out of harm's way, but the point is you shouldn't bother using snipers when magic users can do the same thing, as well as long range spells like Bolting.

This is all my opinion of course, we all play differently! :)
