Love this movie! Hollywood films are absolute crap today! I swear, I was born in the wrong era. Carrie, Straw Dogs, Jeremiah Johnson, A Clockwork Orange, and many others are so well-written, acted, directed and the overall premise is fantastic! Movies today are made for pure profit rather than art.

I love that opening scene- Peckinpah's entire conception of women starting at 1:46! He, he, he! I don't know what's better about this movie- the fascism or the "misogeny"! But either way, Peckinpah is the greatest of American directors.
