I've listened to both version and I think both are great! If I had to pick I'd take this version over the more uptempo version.
It's so smooth! The vocals are great - and the high harmony - holy shit! The keys.......everything works with this band!
Either way, these guys are creating some magic. I can't stop watching/listening to 'em - best music I've heard in a while. Gets me excited about music again!

Boy is this soft. Terrible in comparison to how they were performing it live in early 2009.
