So heartbreaking.......why can't *everyone* see the despair and depression in a chained dog???? Rehome the dog or let it live inside and take it for walks! There's no reason for such hillbilly ignorance in this century. A neighbor of mine has JRT's on 3-4ft chains, placed stratigically apart, w/metal barrels for sheltor. They've been there since they were tiny puppies and they're not allowed to play together. For the love of God why??? I hope he dies screaming...............
