Is this like an unedited version of the pilot? I have all of the episodes taped from when they aired on Fox Family years ago, and I swear that the dad never talked about how they should dig up his dead friend who smoked. It just cut from him saying "Dead!" and then Linsday saying she'd tell him if she was smoking. And Sam never asked if any of his friends were alive. Interesting...
