I suppose that the reason why "Andy" is not written on woody's boot is because john lasseter stated once that all toy story characters don't belong to pixar but to every person who loved them....i thought it was kinda cute hehe btw I got the doll for my little brother and i have to admit i don't mind playing with it even if he's not around, I wish they made toys like these back in the 90's....still the 1st edition were pretty cool ;)

the only two complaints i have, the face isn't the same as in the movie, and the pull string goes in to fast, unlike the movie, where it goes in as hes saying the phrase and doesn't go fully in until hes done with the pr\hrase, otherwise great doll!

I'm a Woody fan since 95 I used to have the original figure (not as nice as this though). But I think the reason for there is no ANDY written on the bottom of the boot is that if you're a Kid and you buy it you're suppose to write your own name ;)
