I was only able to see them in both Calgary and Edmonton this year and both shows blew me away! Edmonton was incredibly intense and was one of my all time favorite shows. I agree with everyone below, this was a fantastic tribute and totally unexpected. One more reason to admire and respect Pearl Jam.

Wow. That is absolutely stunning. REM have been hands down my fave band for over 20 years. So I was/am a pretty sad guy when they broke up. Words really can't express how beautiful this tribute is from one of my other fave bands. Wow. REM bowed out with grace and Pearl Jam are still fighting the good fight.

Thank you to Eddie for the kind words for my favorite band. "It Happened Today" is a really good touch, actually a bit better than something lame like "The One I Love" or something over done. Eddie is pretty great on the studio version of the song.
