I ant to make me a fursuit , I'm just scared of making mestakes sence im a noob on fursuit making. I'm afraid i might make money loosing mestake , and screwing it up , So i need help from another furr. Good job on the head thoe and simple jaw movments useing a rubberband.
Looks simple i want to make me a fursuit , but it will be my first time . and ill need help from another with basic head shape, but what i want is a kangaroo head or i might just got with a wolf or rat. Im just scared of making money costing mestake being a noob in making me a fursuit.
omg ive been having so much trouble with follow me eyes how did u make them all the tutorials i find are not good but your eyes are great please respond
@actionzone1001 the moving eyes are an illusion, they are made from an inch deep tube with piece of white card with a hole cut in the centre and covered with a black mesh material on the back of the hole, placed iside the tube then placed on the mask at an angle, the vision from inside is pretty good too
@actionzone1001 There are different ways to do follow me. Easiest is with a paint pallet, cut out one of the round bowls, cut out a pupil, etc. For realistic do resin. For the follow me with resin eyes, glue the flat sides of 2 resin casts together and paint the round back. I'll link you to these videos on your page.
@grahamlinds look, im sorry, im just not a scary fursuit person, im a cute fursuit person. its not that i dont like it, its just that its not my style.
@MegaPoly85 hi, I used the fimo clay to make the nose and pressed a towel against it prior to putting it in the oven to help give it a leathered look then stuck it on using hot glue
This video is awsome if one day i would try to make my own fursuit head would you help the components i need? I live in Hungary and i don't know where should i find the things i need for it. If you would be so good and send a list of the stuff i need into my email address i would be really happy.
I hate how like beast cub is always like: "no, I can't tell you how to do that!" just because its some company stuff or something. But I am making a suit. :D
What do you use to make the base, skeleton of your mask? I'm trying to figure out how to do this, its my first time and such so I'm looking for as much insight as possible!
reminds me of the wolf from the movie, the neverending story. at the end before atreyu skewers him. i think his name was the grimmulk or something like it. good job!
Wow! First attempt? Right on! I'd like to try making my own, only I think I want to refrain from using actual fur... I think it looked way cool with just the foam... I'd like to use a different material... Maybe make a draconian type creature! Great job on this, anywho... ^_^
Awesome first attempt pea, well, awesome for any attempt! Have just scrapped my first two as had NNOOOOOOO visibility!! any tips on the best components to use for LEDs and things, as obviously needs to be as light as possible? good luck with future projects, though, it doesn't look like you need it! hugz x
Hey i was wondering if you could tell me where you got the fur to put over it or maybe what its called bc im thinking aboutw doing one but i dont know exactly what to use
I know this video might be old but, what did you use to attach the lights? The head of your costume is completly stunning! I am actually in the making of my first now. I was planning to set lights in it to make my markings and eyes glow and such and was wondering if you could help me out.
@Jayheart12 the lights in the video are white l.e.d's but i've changed them to red ones now, they're just red l.e.d bulbs placed inside the mask above the eyes with the wires running to the back where they're connected to a battery box and switch,i bought all the components from my local electronics store and soldered them altogether, the staff will usually help you find all you need if you ask.
Hey um I really like this could you give me a list of everything you used for this I really would like to try to make a hyena furry with a moving jaw.
@paleknight1 plastic mesh, card, hot glue for frame, card tube, for eyes, foam to get shape before fur goes on,split pins and rubberbands for jaw, craft foam sheets for tongue gums and mouth, fimo model clay for teeth, any more questions just ask.I've not made one like this for ages been trying different ways of making masks and different types, going to make a video son of all the ones I've done, currently making a predator costume!
@ryolo132 The black pupils that are on the mask are holes with a black mesh material on the back so i can see out through it but no-one can see my eyes from outside
the eyes dont move, if you put them directly in the middle, it gives an appearence of them moving. thats one of the few actual things i payed attention to in art class lol
I have a question, how was the visibility for the eyes? The Follow me eyes kind of looked pretty solid, so I'm not sure. The one I'm making has a more rounded follow-me eyes made by Danibal yoguart cups, and so far the visibility's doing...ok...
i think if the eyes are indented in, it gives it a moving eye look..Not sure if that is the positive truth, but i'm pretty sure that's how you do it...For example, try drawing eyes in egg carton things..Where the egg lays in..And draw the eyes in that little indent..Should give it a moving eye look...
In terms of hints, try slimming the foam down to make a trimmer, more realistic wolf head. Also you might trim the fur along the muzzle. Look at a real wolf for reference; a lot of fursuit masks are too big proportional to the body, but with this design I think you could fix that without much issue.
