It doesnt work for me. I downloaded it i opened it, i went downstairs where i saw he awesome station. i read the sign and it said go in for it to work
i jumped into it and nothing happened no booster came up. Help? Plz?

It's fine- kind of. So... I downloaded the world and (predictably) the system no longer worked- that's the bad news. The good news is, I've sort of reconfigured it to work with the new booster rails. It's messy, but I've managed to do a working brick to gold station line with booster rails where the boosters were.
if 1.5 is going to piss him off, 1.6 is going to ruin his life. I learned how to make minecart systems simply in 1.4, and 1.5... but the game is at 1.6 and it's more material-demanding, complex, and requires lots of powered track.
What version has the system been working on for you? I find it brilliant so I downloaded the save file you provided and run it on beta 1.5 and it seems to glitch at some places, specifically the arrival platform doesn't seem to reload the incomming cart after you get off it because the boost cart thats supposed to grab it won't provide it with enough force to fall over the edge while loosing itself power to return back to its loop. However I believe that you will design new one working great job

@hattericus Subbed. I have a question. I'm making my first station like this but I'm having the most trouble with vertical boosters. Half the time they drag the cart backwards. Is that what changed in the update? If you could do a new video of the improvements you've made or even annotate this one, that would be very helpful. Thanks for your inspiring work.
@AshleyKScott I built this system in single player alpha survival. I have noticed many differences in SMP minecart functionality that make complex systems unreliable. Regarding vertical boosters, I have seen people place a booster cart that settles in a "V" track which should be avoided at all costs. The booster wobbles and will collide unpredictably with oncoming carts. I recommend using boosters that rest on flat track or have oncoming carts turn into or change elevation by the booster cart.
The one thing i dont like about this system is the fact that it could eventually stop running due to a lack of extra carts in the holding system.
I'm currently working on my own subway system and i'm trying to make it so the cart always loops back to the start (which would stop me from beign able to go from station a to station c without switching carts but i could handle that)

@TheMonoxide12 No, I completely agree with you there. What I meant is in the parts where you just travel (the corridors if you will). Some parts are stone, others dirt, others sand, etc. Clean them up so there's a pattern.

(1) Why is the thread at Minecraft forums you refer to locked? Is there a more up to date (beta?) thread somewhere?
(2) Have you already done the shrinking of the satellite station (by a factor of two)?
(3) Are you ever going to publish any kind of schematics for the satellite station? It can be worked out from the World file, but even a rough schema would be a lot easier

Nice :) Connect the main station on different level to the satelite stations, and then expand those new lines out. Like Metro in Moscow :) You've already have the ring, now expand straight (or not) lines from center station, through satelite stations and onto the new lands :) Those things shoudn't be hard :) Keep the good work ! :)
Amazing. After completing the main station do you plan on hiding the circuits and operational tracks and making the between railways more.. pretty? Also it seems like such a hastle to create just to travel such short distances. Would it be easy to add future additional stations, away from the main line, that work just as effectively?

Nice cool build, I'm going to get the save game, but I have one question. Did you use an inventory editor to get all that stuff? I'm pretty sure you did. I'm not trying to hate on you or anything but I have a hard time believing anyone could get all that iron and diamond blocks legit, nor do I hold ANYTHING against you if you did. Beautiful, really beautiful. One question, though. What happens if you were to visit the Gold Station more often then say the Black or Brick or Diamond? You say that your cart is collected, so is it possible that the Black, Brick, and Diamond stations run out of carts (as they have all been collected by the Gold)? Do you know of an automated way to fix this?

@wwanimator It's powered by pressure plates. The cart won't move until you get out. You can sit there for 5 years and the cart still won't leave.

Nice cool build, I'm going to get the save game, but I have one question. Did you use an inventory editor to get all that stuff? I'm pretty sure you did. I'm not trying to hate on you or anything but I have a hard time believing anyone could get all that iron and diamond blocks legit, nor do I hold ANYTHING against you if you did. This thing is just so cool. Good job!!!

Haha, nevermind. I had commented before seeing "the cart magazine" ending. But, does the Gold (with my last comment) become to crowded?

Beautiful, really beautiful. One question, though. What happens if you were to visit the Gold Station more often then say the Black or Brick or Diamond? You say that your cart is collected, so is it possible that the Black, Brick, and Diamond stations run out of carts (as they have all been collected by the Gold)? Do you know of an automated way to fix this?
