Richard do soft vocals live too, sometimes but not much, saw them live ones and they played this song and he sang soft, you can se in this video that he sings clean at the chours!

And he has also left Sonic Syndicate permanently now because 4/6 people in the band (Robin,Nathan,Karin,John), nuclear blast and the management is money greedy fucks. Roger will also leave Sonic Syndicate in the future.

I think if you mixed the studio version with the live... for example keep the studio the same except add the screams like they do live and it would be like 100x more amazing... even though the song already kicks ass

yup, one of the studio tracks. it's easy, many bands do this, mostly for their synthesizer and sample tracks. the drummer hears the click on his in ear monitors, the audience hears the backing vocals and synthie tracks. all you need is a laptop and sequencer software, pretty easy to do, but takes your show to a higher level. it's like cheating though. but who cares, i do it anyway with my bands.
