They gave me this numbing gel that I mixed with water and gargled with. That was the only thing that helped when I got mine out about a year and a half ago. Also, this probably doesn't help but you'll start feeling better really soon. At around a week after surgery it was the worst for me. But seriously, ask your doctor about the numbing gel stuff. I wish I had some left so I could tell you what it was.

Codeine? Pffft. It's all about the Vicodin. I doesn't really kill the pain, but you won't really care.
