For all the people requesting information about installing a Sti gauge cluster in to a 02/03 WRX just buy yourself a 2004 year ONLY WRX Sti Gauge cluster since it's all plug and play. You will have to cut the B28 wire on the center plug which is yellow/green stripe to keep the radio fuse from blowing all the time. Also the DCCD and rear diff temp light will stay on. You can google ways like taping them or whatever to keep them from showing up. Hope this helps.
@JaYzWrExX While your sending stuff to inbox's can you send me a copy as well. I am looking to swap mine out as well. I have an 03 WRX and I like the tach in the middle instead of being offset.
The same question of another member few months ago : i just bought an 02 bugeye and i was wondering if it is hard to get the sti cluster to work...? are there any mods u have to do to get it to work? plug and work or modif to do
uhh if it's an 04 cluster there shouldn't be any splicing or wire cutting required. It should be plug-and-play. However, if it is 05+ I BELIEVE(not sure) that you have to cut the wire off the harness and connect it directly into the cluster. It may be the other way around(off the cluster directly into harness) but I know it can work.
Well for the dccd if you aint got a 6spd with all the accessories that come with it the light will just be on that's it, for the outside temp I believe you have to buy some extra sensors, for the abs it just stay on unless you snip the wire but everything else works fine including the shift beep
Bro could you also send me the info on how to install this shiiiiaaat! thanks :)
