I love Nottingham and have no clue why people speak such bad words...we've had a great impact on the world, a rich history with Ibuprofen being conceived here as well as cochlea implants, MRI, latex, synthetic fibres, spinning Jenny and more. Have famous figures such as Lord Byron, D.H Lawrence...once produced the best lace.

I have to live here !!! But I do try to avoid the city centre at all costs. A mindless and careless few like to spoil what was once The Queen of the Midlands. What city has riot vans and mounted police posted at strategic places? I had to put up with the aftermath of a weekends binge drinking - finding vomit in bank doorways as well as stale urine wasn't much fun and it was my job to deliver to such places!!

Nottingham is a truly awful place to have to work or live. Many a time have I had to avoid vomit and urine in shop doorways amongst litter, beggars with dogs and drunken yobs, not only that, most if not all of the city centre has been destroyed by over zealous planning mistakes and unnecessary demolition. Maybe that Nottingham is the capital city of Chavs!

You went past where I work on Angel Row! I love Nottingham, don't care what anyone says, it's my home and I've lived here all my life. Funnily enough, it's always the people who don't live here who insult it and say it's "the worst place to live" etc. etc.

Oh and ssosofsofisofia, Nottingham Uni (where I went) is about a 10 min bus ride outside the city. It's actually on University Boulvard, which if you follow the road straight on to Castle Boulvard, gets you more or less in the centre.

Hi David :) The route of the video has no bus lanes. Just a tramway where part of is allowed by private vehicles to load/unload and pass thru. Although there are time restrictions ( i.e. The ` Clear Zone` );

these did not apply to my vehicle because it
