That's racing baby!!! I loved that. Stewart made a great move and Reed returned the favor. I would like to no why Stewarts dad got so mad? Was because of first pass? Was it because Stewart should of saw Reeds pass coming, or was it that he thought James should of let him have the inside and try to get him before finish line with the worse being second? If it happens in an almost identical fashion again then its more than questionable. While we cannot judge the motive of the rider in absolute terms we can make the call at this point that there is unnecessary roughness. If you look at the vid you will see that Reed did this exact move three times in like one or two laps. Its reasonable to call him out on this one.We need to allow aggressive riding BUT if I was ref I would call this one. Its bordering on" rollerball".
Ok heres the problem. Making a call on stuff like this is tough, However in this case we have quite a bit of evidence. When a rider comes in on the inside he should be making an attempt to turn the bike in an arc that fits the arc of the turn. From there its just hard racing and occasionally things happen. Thats racing. BUT when a riders bike shows NO ARC similar to the turn, is not sliding , and missiles ( bike perfectly straight) into another riders bike then the move is questionable.

You can't tell me that he wanted to take Stewart out in that corner because there is NO WAY those guys suck bad enough to try and take someone out in a corner and miss by two or three feet. You better believe they know how to hit their mark. Reed knew he wouldn't make it there in time to hit James. He also knew that his line through that turn would put him right back on Bubba's rear wheel, and that's exactly what it did.

man, it was an aggressive block pass from reed, watch in HD in slow mo if you have to, check his line. he starts to straighten out as they were hit. was a clean pass, AMA does have rules and he wasn't cited as breaking any. and james said he didn't see him, again watch in HD slow mo. he sees him and guns it into him. they were both aggressive and cost themselves 1 and 2. its called racing, if you lose respect because they did their job, you weren't a real fan to begin with.

@iceee187 - Why don't you focus on learning English before you keep making a fool of yourself. Reed's line never pointed toward Stewart. His line choice was exactly where it needed to be in order to block Stewart's line. That was his last chance to pass. Was it too aggressive? Probably, but for Chad the chance to take the lead apparently outweighed the points lost by getting third place instead of second. Stewart realized his line was blocked then decided to ram it through Chad's left case cover

And reed is a great rider but his time has come and gone he needs to just let james and ryan battle it out fairly. The take out just gave RV the win and the points and put stewart down 10 points stewart was closer to the points lead so chad shouldnt have been that aggresive. Regal had nothing to do with it if he wasnt there reed would just have been up against the tuff blocks. There was barley any contact. and Reed got "payback" in las vegas, then again last year with the take-out that ended both of their seasons, and now this so when does getting "payback" end? @plickism just because you can't catch someone doesn't mean your slower. If someone gets into the first turn in first place, the one that came into the first turn in 3rd (both having equal speed) can't gain any ground unless the leader makes a mistake, or fall.

If it happens in an almost identical fashion again then its more than questionable. While we cannot judge the motive of the rider in absolute terms we can make the call at this point that there is unnecessary roughness. If you look at the vid you will see that Reed did this exact move three times in like one or two laps. Its reasonable to call him out on this one.We need to allow aggressive riding BUT if I was ref I would call this one. Its bordering on" rollerball".

Ok heres the problem. Making a call on stuff like this is tough, However in this case we have quite a bit of evidence. When a rider comes in on the inside he should be making an attempt to turn the bike in an arc that fits the arc of the turn. From there its just hard racing and occasionally things happen. Thats racing. BUT when a riders bike shows NO ARC similar to the turn, is not sliding , and missiles ( bike perfectly straight) into another riders bike then the move is questionable.
