WBZ 4, Boston, and WCVB 5, Boston, went off by looping the same video. They'll play it about a week, and off the air it'll go (FOX 64 Providence, RI, did this on 2/18/09, off a week later). In their case, there was a black screen, and the how-to came up normally. Wish that station you shown could. :)

As a kid I remember when my parents put up a UHF antenna on our Mississauga home in 1975 we then discovered WUTV and it soon became my favorite station with the cartoon Prince Planet and later on the Sci-Fi Theater movies in the late 70s.
Now Im all digital and watching American Idol tonight in HDTV and still loving WUTV after all of these years!

It take about 7 minutes for the video loop to start playing correctly.
The transmitter was shut off for a few moments as well.
WUTV Analog has shut off their analog transmiter. Not sure what date the transmitter shut off. It was sometime after Tuesday, March 3, 2009.

It doesn't look like 'switch' went very smoothly. I've been watching WUTV digitally with an antenna for more than 2 years now and it's great.!
