@RyugaHideki98 Why? The gameplay was repetitive. The story-line was unbelievably cliche as where the characters 1 dimensional. If the newer games where preferable above this then it'd have much more of a player base rather then being cancelled when they still had the ability to create them.

Oh the memory's. I remember when i was a kid not having a memory card and eventually getting good enough because of it to beat the spyro games in 1 sitting.

oh my gosh.. i remember playing this on my fat lil grey playstation! oh my.. when i played spyro a new beginning on playstation 2 i felt something taken away from spyro... :[ i dont know what it was sence when i played the ps2 spyro i havent played the first classic spyro in YEARS... but i sure as hell FELT the difference. i feel like i could cry when seeing this.PS3 game makers should make the classic spyro games in HD version for ps3 like god of war collectors . Completing the third game with all skill points and everything shows you Gnasty Gnorc and Ripto talking about the "Spyro Problem".

As such, they were supposed to return together for the 4th version, which I think would've been a brilliant way to END the series... Just the first two main enemies in a final showdown... epic win.

There are so many games that need to be remade with new graphics for the new consoles, but keep everything else, you know, the sound effects, controls, voice overs, and whatnot the same. Like, Spyro 1-3, Syphon Filter 1-3. It would be epic. Thanks for the uploads, this is my second favorite Spyro game to Year of the Dragon, which is my favorite game ever.

I played spyro on ps1 for years-my favourite game. It was a game u could play over and over again, and NEVER get sick of it!!Now that i have a wii, i really wanted another spyro game(i was obbsessed)....Looking at the trailers, It looks Crap!, I loved the old graphics, I Loved the story lines. The new spyro seems so cheesy! It looks so anime, so boring. I want the makers of spyro to make the old spyro games, but on wii and xbox. But Keep the old graphics!
