  • how would u solve this problem: the sum of three consecutive integers in -114. find the integers

  • @khanamnasrin x+(x+1)+(x+2). It should be the same. 3x+3=-114, -114 - 3=-117, 3x=-117, -117/3=-39, so x=-39. To check, -39+-38+-37=-114(Plugged it into my calculator and it is). Hope I helped! You can check my math if you want.

  • THANK YOU OH MY GOSH !:)

  • is ALWAYS the equation like that? I mean x+(x+1)+(x+2)?

  • But what about the more complicated ones like:

2 consec even integers who's product is 80 more than the smaller's sqaure.

  • WOW you rock, thanks for the video!

  • i want a video to show me how you can do -8+6--9=

i cant any video like that

  • THANKS DUDE you helped me not confused me

  • Why the hell can you not be my teacher?! I LUV YOU.

  • Thank you!!!! :D +LIKE :D

  • oooo i get it now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thanks

  • Thank you , you saved my time (: whoooo~~

  • you described this way better than my math teacher did

  • He looks sad while teaching but he makes math look so easy!

  • Math seems so much easier now :D

  • How do you know how many integers you will end up with to get the sum? Like if you need to also include x + 3, x + 4, etc. Do you need more for a higher number? Your example is 24 but how about for a 3 digit number?

  • @Ilkhan28 To amend, I understand if it says "3 consecutive numbers", then you use x, x +1, x + 2. However what happens if you do it this way and your outcome still does not equal the sum you are looking for? (such as my 3-digit number)

  • You're great! It's very hard for me to get over 90% in my algebra tests, but thanks to you I'm unmatched in class

  • OMG! I Finally got it! THANKS MAN!

  • You're fucking awesome. I want to have your babies.

  • @skullz841 calm yourself

  • Thank you monotonous man. I finished my Algebra 1 Honors homework thanks to you. Middle school is screwing with my head. I have mostly stupid teachers. 0.0

  • Omg .... I love you lol

  • Brilliant teaching

  • Very nice guide, thank you. My teacher can't teach for shit. Just throws a problem up, and heres your homework. Will be watching more of your videos. :D

  • I wish that you taught me math, then maybe I wouldn't be failing my class. Its like the world makes sense again!

  • tq

  • amaizing

  • I fell asleep in algebra today.... thanks

  • This is great! Short video and straight to the point. Wish my high school teacher was doing that. Thanks

  • An hour of being confused... when I could've looked this up and understand in less than two minutes. Thank you.

  • wow ure unbelievable THANXXXX!!!

  • Thanks alot.

  • Somebody please help! I want find two consecutive numbers multiplied to make let's say 380. I know it'll end up as (x+20)(x-19) but how do i find 20 and 19? Guess? If so then why do the equation in the first place if I'm just gonna guess?!

  • @Jupiterx5 Uhm, i dont know if this comment is too late, but its quite simple. just do the same thing cuz its consecutive so that doesnt mean +20 or anything, it means 1 after another. so you'd do

    x+x+1=380.

    380-1=2x

    2x=379

    379/2=189.5. x=189.5 189.5+189.5+1=380

  • Thank you for helping me, now maybe I won't fail my midterm tomorrow

  • Very clear- Thankyou. Its very understandabe to me now. :D REMEMBER, math is the alphabet God had created for space.

  • to be honast and this did help me alot but was i the only one thinking BUELER lol this guys voice was like that

  • I've gotta say this helped tremendously! i have test and this really clarified a lot for me. thank you for posting!

  • Thank you...that really helped for an upcoming test

  • How can I find 2 consecutive odd integers whose product is 5 less than 5 times their sum. Domain for the smallest: (0,6,9)

  • These lessons are so helpful! I don't understand my teacher and I take notes but this guys really shows you how it's done!

  • i thought x+1 is first?

  • IM NOT GOING TO FAIL TOMORROW!!!!!

  • if it wasn't for you i would failing. you just got 1 more subscriber

  • thankyouthankyouthankyou

  • Thanks cracka

  • OMG thank you so much for uploading this video =] much love and much thanks =]

but im glad there are still videos like this that help children so thank you

  • boring as hell but very helpful.

  • i think you are a true hero for doing this

  • Ok that wasn't what i was looking for, I need with this problem: Three brothers have ages that are consecutive even integers. The product of the first and third boys ages is 20 more than twice the second boys age. Find the age of each of the three boys. PLEASE HELP ME!

  • thanx man when ma techer thiught this ididnt didnt understand nunthing

  • Comment removed

  • that is the most ridiculous sentence ever created

  • thank you thank you I forgot what it was but now I know

  • better than my teacher<3

  • um i needed hel and this dude is like a math mahicne nice i understand it 8D

  • would love it if he was my teacher talks clear and is neat

  • ahh, so for regular consecutive integers, you use 1,2,3...etc, and for odd, you use 2,4,6... etc, and for even you use 1,3,5?

    THANKS!!!!

  • WAIT ODD IS 2,4,6??

  • yess

  • the sum of n consecutive integers is 11. if the least of these integers is -10, what is the value of n?

  • I would do it my way in solving algebra like first subtracting 3 and then dividing the number by three, sorts the confusion

  • Great!!

  • I think I understand this now THXS ^-^

  • omg ive been like failing math and after watching this i actually understand it ty

  • Omg, I just realized I do learn stuff more through visual learning. D: But this is great! Very helpful! Thank you!

  • nice thanks a lot!:)

  • Z0mG THt Waz Lk sO00O0 MaD UbEr!1!!!11!!!!!1!! I lK ttLy PaSseD mY ReGenTS wth Ths!!1!11!
