My opinion is that it does make some work easier, but still, overall devalues the quality of all creative work. It makes everything cheap and duplicatable. It also empowers non-artists to do creative work, and subsequently lowers the standards further. It almost means 'art' has to be differentiated from 'creative work'. Creative work could be just graphical data entry. Overall, I think the internet will eventually become too smart for its own good and we'll have to do something about it.
my mom gets mad when i use the internet but when im in the internet i dont forget how spell or read and im learning and looking for stuff i always wanted to know and faster
Nice Nice Video. I really loved your video. Youtube can be a great asset for you. If you need any help getting your video exposed, check out this site called tubeviews [dot net] It has really done wonders for me, I have built 3 Channels up with videos at top in position and this is my forth channel i'm going to working on.
Yeah, so consumer based market innovation is BAD? Give me a break; Capitalism is based on CONSUMER demand, and if the New York Times isn't selling a product that CONSUMERS are interested in, then the NYT needs to adapt to the market. This stupid anti-capitalsim arguement is hallow because it says that the market must be controlled for the sake of special interestes (aka NYT). When in fact industry giants usually die out because they stop adapting. Google is an adaptive giant, hence its growing.
It seems like this argument hinges on the possible interpretations of the phrase "creative people". Websites like youtube or even myspace are incredible marketing tools which in my case can connect musicians with music labels across the world. So, who is to say we are not being rewarded?
Bureaucrats & Administrators stymie CREATIVITY & INNOVATION in order to impose ORDER & CONTROL
These big bureaucracies & administrative bodies are the natural evolution of a company-corporation
Thus, a large corp like Google will have to "buy-out" other peoples creative products - The culture in a large corporation prevents it from designing its own new products and services
SOLUTION: For a big corporation to have a synergist at the executive level bring coord and innovation back to the corp
Very good debate. Although I would use it if I had a site, google is such a leech on people intellectual rights. That is the problem with the creation of such a monopoly. Because I don't know how to look around the net for independent advertisers I have to go to google ads. Any other solutions would be appreciated.
