I never started 24 on Season 1. It was end of Season 5 I did. But before the series ended I had watched every season and still got emotional with this ending. 24 is my life.

Such an amazing part of the song, It was so emotional saying goodbye to 24 after nearly 10 years, I was 9 when I watched the first season when it came out and followed it through all my life growing up.

That piece of music is all 8 seasons in a few seconds flashing through my mind, I loved it!

18 months since the finale and i still tear up EVERy DAMN TIME! I CANT show emotion for a fictional series no matter how much i love it(Harry potter,for example,never teared up int he final,and i love it). But 24,wow. 24 is what I'VE grown up with. I was only 7 when it came out,and i watched it even though i didnt understand everything. When it ended,i felt like part of me died. Such an unresolved,unhappy ending to the characters who deserve it most of all..thank you 24..

I caught up with the series within 2 years, literally minutes as the 7th season premiere. Jack Bauer will always be in our hearts and minds forever. the clock will never stop ticking... 24 FOREVER!

The 24 film needs to happen NOW. Whenever it is made I hope they continue having Jack as a rogue operative. Similar to Splinter Cell Conviction or Bourne. Visually I hope they do the film similar to the Bourne films. This music brings back so many great memories of a Summer dedicated to 24.

LOVE how many of the old scores were meshed on to this... Ryan Chappelle's execution (Day 3) Jack falls from the helicopter to the ocean (Day 6), his family rescue (Day 1) & the definitive Jack Bauer theme to cap it off... I rewind this seen often just to hear the score... Sean Callery is a master & his (3rd) Emmy he won for this piece is well deserved.. Here's hoping he wins an Oscar for the 24 movie... 24 & JACK BAUER FO LIFE!

Reminds me of when I saw my grandfather for the last time. As those doors closed in that hospital, something in my gut told me that I wouldn't see him again until he was in a casket. I was right, tragically enouh.

Such a sad end to the series, Jack never did get a Happy ending, will probably never get to see his Family again, his Granddaughter, his Daughter, or his very few remaining friends, The one true Example of a tragic Hero in a TV series.

It sounded so familiar that in the end I guess I just realised I knew Sean Callery's work so well that I was totally used to the style.

@viperhalberd you're not totally in the wrong. The beginning of this cue is the same as the music used when Ryan Chapelle is killed (in season 3). And the end is the main "Family theme" of 24 that has been used since season 1.
