The reason that the damage was lowered was because the lower end of the damage scale on the magical damage was around the same, but the higher end increased as well, making a LARGER gap of damage rather than a smaller gap of consistent damage. ive tested it myself, and its a give or take amount of damage, a lot like when you do a suprisingly large amount of damage when you burst and you're like wow how'd that happen, its the same concept.
Good idea for a vid. Just an idea though xD you should do dmg tests on a nub instead of a high level character. Reason for that is because the dmg difference is usually ALOT more obvious than just 10-15 dmg per MB.
@shadowshaolin maybe his regular armour has more int than his blues because his blues int might be a lower than his regular armours int. just a theory.
It's true i did a test...i have all int on my gears nd i hit 18x on my lvl charmed mage (65 lvl) then w/o gears i started hitting like 2xx-22x...so int gears lowers ur m.dmg but int in build/rings/necless/earings..makes it highter
erm... a bit late but my test used 100 attacks, a bit excessive i know but it found that 10 pts of int amounted to 1 more dmg when it was ~5k mdg vs 2k m def. If you want an accurate test, compare +0int vs slimes with +int vs slimes or vs unarmored whatever. You need to account for m def.
