Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
I would say it's a prayer and not a song...lol...leehom just added the organ/piano notes to it. It's actually the Lord's Prayer for the Catholic/Lutheran churches and or denominations.
It is a song actually. Leehom didn't add the notes by himself. The music was by Albert H. Malotte in 1935. The Lord's Prayer is a traditional Christian Hymn.
Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil. [For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever.] Amen.
