  • We as Native American people know you've gone to the Spiritual World. A time and place you can be free. Many of us have listen to your words of life and understand them. What I see is a Foreign government in control of our lands. Know matter what they say are do,they will fade away into History. They've never taken the time to learn from the Native American people. What is now the US Government and nation is dying from within. There Corrupted Leaders are now killing their own people. Ah ho....

  • Point one, liquor stores on improperly used land and, no ability to overcome.

  • @Osuitea don't you have any matches.

  • Sadly missed...always!

  • ~Soar in Peace~

  • @TheAbby202 - Nothing to forgive-was never a problem. Peace to you.

  • may you fest in peace in the spirit world

  • i have alot of respect for my indian people im from the taino tribe much love may you bring lots of wisdom and more spiritual inlightment to the future generations..

  • You may have left this world in body, your spirit still abounds in all of it's glory. Listening to your calm voice, your wisdom, it's as of the troubles I feel in my soul have been lifted. Thank you sooooooo much!

  • Thank you for the upload you have made a difference in my life.

  • I am African American. My Mother is from the mountains of North Carolina. We went to the Cherokee Land at least once every summer. I have always had an affinity for the Native people of this land. I just finished the book, 'The Wisdom of the Native Americans'. I hear this powerful voice and will try to be as One with this voice and the other Human Beings in the Circle.

  • Continue to walk in beauty in your next life. Such a beautiful, humble person who shall be remembered with love and amazement in his peacefulness. Joy to all our relatons that one has come home to a peaceful place in another world.

  • i am friends with his daughter..

  • Bless the rest of the "STILL" oppressed native ppl. Your redemption (Pahana) is coming. The ways of your ancestors will soon be upon us. My heart is with you. One love

  • peace my friend...the worlds lost

  • WHAT A LOSS TO THE WORLD .

  • I wasn't aware that he had passed away. It's taken a bit of shine off this day.

  • He's amazing. To just slow down with him and listen, he chooses his words carefully and takes you along as he paints a picture. A immaculate loss for not only the redman but the world.

  • I wish I could have met you, thank you for sharing your message with us. I hope to meet you - on the other side.

  • grand father aho waste

  • Compare this truly great man with such false prophets as Eli Wiesel

  • A loss to whole humanity.

Respects to The ELders of all times and to their spiritual way.

  • cut the head off & the body will die! this is what the gov has done to AIM, were are the Warriors?

  • What our gov has done to these people,,,exterminated almost an entire race,,,is so sickening to me,,,these people have so much knowledge and wisdom that we could have learned from,,,they didnt want war,,,we started it,,,we were wrong,,,we are still wrong and it makes me embarassed to be european,,,we shoul hang our head in shame ,,,these folks were here first,,,they should have been given respect,,,and they should have been given all the respect in the world

  • @candiceevans1 I wouldn't say exterminated. Most died of diseases they had no resistance to. The deaths from disease would have happened eventually upon contact and nothing we had would have stopped this.

The law of civilization for eons has been that any society who cannot defend themselves is eventually merged with one that can. This is just how life was back then and had always been since the dawn of time.

  • @ChannelingusIV white mand gave them diseases so white man killed them with many weapons

  • HOKA, HOKA HEY

    Bravo grandfather

    oh WAKAN TANKA...

    TUNKASHILA OSHI MA LA YA

  • Thank you for posting this. My head understands...and my heart listens....Meegwetch..(thankyou)

  • Thank you!!

  • I have always felt love and admiration of Native Americans - and when I learned what had happened to them - I was so angry, then I felt a deep sense of loss - their loss IS my loss. Thank you for sharing the truth behind the origins of the "holiday" I was brought up being taught was a day of "thanks". I've known for years it wasn't a day to celebrate, but until now I did not know it's true origin. Thank you for sharing. I wish I had met him.

  • thankyou

  • American Indians have indeed been fighting terrorism since 1492

Much respect to free spirit of Floyd, the Red Crow.

  • safe journey my red brother...

  • He will truly be missed. I have been caught up in personal strugals over the last few years and lost touch I didn't know he had passed. every time I hear him talk I am reminded of my grandfather he was half NC Tuscarora and passed in 93 he was my best friend I miss him every day and strive to be half the man he was. hearing this moved me to tears both for Red Crow and my Grandfather, Thank you

  • I dont think this person will be left this world for too long, the spirit is incredibly strong, he has come through too much keep watch, keep the soul light burning.

  • walk easy you have a safe journey my red brother

  • Peace upon you. May the creator be with you. Thanks for your wisdom.

  • I just uploaded an excerpt of this video with Spanish subtitles if anyone is interested. What a fascinating wise man, I wish I had known him. Thanks for this upload.

  • the PUREBRED indians need to keep creating purebred indians because if they don't they will become extinct ! no need for every indian to mix with other cultures they need to stick to their own and be proud !

  • May the creator shelter you and welcome you home.

  • Indian people have been under the boot of the New World Order for over 500 years. Only now are the rest of people in this country getting a hint of what Indians have known since the beginning of the takeover.

  • Red Crow lives!!!!!!

  • Native Elders are geniuses in a good way...

  • I cried watching this video.

  • wow i didnt know that about thanks giving...interesting

  • I am listening to the message...and will teach my daughter. Thank you.

  • That is wonderful. Red Crow was a good friend and I continue to hear his words. He played a perfect role for his real life in "Dances with Wolves". Chief Ten Bears had true wisdom just as Red Crow did in his life. Few have left a mark in this world as wide as his. May he rest in peace.

  • may tunkashila look kindly upon red crow as we did and continue to do. thank you floyd.

  • he was a good friend to me and my great aunt

  • RIP a great man. and to think they are teaching the white children in sch. to be proud cowboys and girls. as i said i wondered who would be playing the indians? all of us? i am so ashamed of our forefathers for what they did to such a wonderful people who we could have learned so much from. all while the white man elite illuminatti stealing knowledge around the world from shaman then killing them. wake up!

  • I joined AIM in 1971 as a teen.I saw this man perform.I knew Dennis Banks, Russel Means and it was a time of pride and conflict Thanks so much for this video.OYATE!

  • How profound it is to watch this on the eve of this historic election. We owe you Guys so much. We owe you everything. And we owe you, not to screw it up.

May God be with You, Native people.

    Laura from South Dakota.

  • I'm in such awh from true words of wisdom

  • Great man. I apologize for the horrible treatment of native Americans on behalf of many non-natives.

  • He Teach Me A Lot About All People And There Ways .

  • A Great Man...Lane*

  • much respect to you Mr. Red Crow.....go in a good way. having earned my patch, ANYBODY WHO POSTS A NEGATIVE COMMENT ABOUT HIM, I PITY YOU.

  • So sad, he will be missed by many for many generations. He was quite a teacher.

  • Ref KaballOdOradO from El Paso TX. He is a racist and a hater who is NOT one of us. He has no respect for the First Nations. Spam his racist comment below.

  • Really now, what a tiny mind you have. People like you give human beings a bad name. If you dont like American Indians, then thats your loss, go stick your head in the sand and hide your ugliness from the rest of us!

  • "Hate the Victim" Red Crow is so right when he says that. its happened to Native Americans, Jews, Mexicans, Africans and many more...

  • "Red" list: watch?v=mNPn2JLz7Jc

  • You have departed so much from your ways that you have forgotten who you are. So you seek to find who you are from a foreign power government that is alien to your lands then ask that foreign power for assistance in living and became a lame dependent cow.

Have you ever wondered WHY dear red people WHY is it that the ruins, pottery, etc are MUCH MUCH older in antiquity as you go........SOUTH as in SOUTH AMERICA????? Where are you from dear Red Skins? Where are you from?

  • Its easy to talk zhit with your girly hair when you have a wad of gambling money thanks to the bribe you took for the sale of your mother earth. Isnt that what its all about...sell your land for a little gambling money. You slaughtered your own mother. What do you deserve now?

  • gambling was a part of most native american traditions for centuries, but the government thought it bad. and the casinos are one of very few ways that some natives have in order to stay soveriegn. of course, if we had our lands back, we wouldn't need casinos, but we would still be gambling. and foreigners slaughtered our lands with their capitalistic society. why can't white people provide for themselves? i dream of a country where money is non existent, everyone is conscious of the earth

  • White man lawyers helped all the Indians get something back in the form of money. Those who the white man lawyers represented advised that they didnt want money and that they only wanted to protect their mother earth from further encroachment. Those people lied to get a few dollars and ended up skrewing the lawyers who tried in earnest to help their clients regain title to their lands. NDN is as much a forked tongue hypocrite as the white man.

  • we DIDN'T need money, we never did. white people think money is everything. white guys created capitalism, which is also not needed. as long as we had our lands, we were just fine, but we didn't get back our lands, instead, the government proceeded in assimilating indians because we were too wild, i guess. we wanted our lands, whites didn't give it, we were left with lands white people found uselss, and we struggle with survival. as long as our mother strives, i'm fine with that...

  • What are you talking about?

Any white man who helped the Indian wanted to be an Indian. Deny all you want, it's not going to change the truth. The truth the rest of the world is learning about only NOW because of the internet. Just look at what's been done to the beautiful American lands...from as as far as Alaska and Canada in North America to the tip of Chile in South America. You can't bargain with the truth, in the end.

  • 7:05 yes you are right and now they are getting everybody to hate the victim.....its happening they are hating on us mexicans right now....

  • "when an indian kills a white man, 1st degree murder."

  • His wonderful wisdom, carries yet still on a wind that we can hear if we turn towards it.

What he shares, it shows the wisdom of the elders. beautiful post, yakoke.

  • WAR PONY PECHANGA,,,,,,,,,,,,,

  • red crow,,,many will no me,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

  • Long Live Chief Red Crow

  • Such a holy man......

  • I think First Nation Americans (in my mind the only true name for these brave, strong people)would've been better Christians than those who claimed to be in those bitter times. They understood far better about mother Earth and the Great Creator. They still do,as far as i can see.

    R.I.P. Chief Red Crow.

  • Nemi Chichiltictliltototl!!

    Viva Red Crow!

  • he was such a wise elder i thank you for your wisdom miigwetch! nya-weh

may gitchie manito keep you safe!

    Aho!

  • Best Regards from Poland... There were times in our history that we felt like you today !

Those times are now over. I hope you will once, eventually be able to feel the same...

  • It hurts to know that my people are still being persecuted to this day, and for what? Being different, having red skin, God giving us this land first, I have no hate for anybody but I'm tired of the U.S. Congress's disregard for Native American issues. I think we've suffered enough.

  • If you've reached your endpoint become proactive. Become a congress member and represent your People. Don't be a victim. Take charge of your destiny. I'm a Lakota and I'm learning law. My goal is to enter politics and change what can be changed. The road is long and tough to travel with hard times ahead but still doable. Congress controls the laws pertaining to Native American issues. Join congress and change the laws.

  • Wow. I'm from Kauai and same issues prevail.....your attitude is exactly what is needed. Send your children to law school and get it back. Culture is neccessary but it won't get back what you've lost. More power to you.

  • @jssitter Well stop supporting this rich lawyers and put real men and woman in there Obama is just another rich man and cares not about the natives.

  • @goodall77 Thanks for your feedback. I don't support the attitude that most ppl have concerning lawyers because they know the law. I feel it's important to understand how law works so that bad laws can be revised into better more beneficial laws. The average person does not know how the law works and therefore it's easier to pass laws that hurt others and only benefit a few.

  • @jssitter Lawyers are the ones that have made the laws. Lawyers grow up to become the Obama's and like the rest have only took what does not belong to them. As a native we know first hand the words of these grown up lawyers and the same ole must change. We the people must take this country back and the same ole way won't work to many lawyers have taken to much to long this must end. We need knew leaders not more lawyers.

  • Our government was originally set up to take time to enact laws so that wise laws could passed. Lawyers aren't the problem- it's the way our government now operates that is. If you have an issue, become a leader.

  • Lawyers are not the ones who have made the laws per se- Congress does. However many lawyers are in Congress along with Doctors and some finance gurus looking to use the system as it exists.

  • Lawyers are not the ones who have made the laws per se- Congress does. However many lawyers are in Congress along with Doctors and some finance gurus looking to use the system as it exists.

  • Lawyers are not the ones who have made the laws per se- Congress does. However many lawyers are in Congress along with Doctors and some finance gurus looking to use the system as it exists.

  • Not every lawyer is a bad person. Thurgood Marshall was a lawyer who worked tirelessly for equality and was a member of the American Civil Rights movement. He lobbied against Jim Crow laws. He worked tirelessly for equal protect under the 13th and 14th Amendments of the Constitution. He became a Supreme Court Judge and worked constantly for the greater good that all may know justice and equality.

  • @goodall77 Very few ppl among the general population understand how the government works and how each branch of the government works. This apathy and misunderstanding has allowed the elected officials to be corrupt, to enact bad laws, to take more power than they are allowed by Constitutional law which is the Highest Supreme law of the United States. Constitutional laws each Congress member and the President has sworn to uphold and broken.

  • I don't know about you but i'm tired of being taken advantage of. I'm tired of our "leaders" bankrupting the nation. I'm tired of the legislature that has allowed these crappy practices to exist. I'm tired of our nation financing everything on debt which leads us further down the hole. I AM an average person trying to make it. I'm tired of the attitude that ppl have about the advantages of others. We all can make it if we're smart, educated, and have clear

  • goals in what we wish to achieve. I wish to become a lawyer to learn the laws, understand them better, and work on bettering things from the inside. Do I care about the money? Not really. I care about justice. I care about truth. I care that ppl start taking a more proactive approach in regards to the corruption their elected officials deal in. The majority of the ppl in this nation vote for the same corrupted officials time and again without questioning if their leaders really

  • represent their highest good or if their leaders are more concerned with their own power and more concerned with sucking off the teat of government spending and corruption so that they stay in power. If everyone in Congress and the Senate had to fund everything out of their own money they would not write bad laws that allowed overspending. They would not spend a $ trillion or more in bad programs that don't work like they're intended. Those in power want you to feel powerless.

  • Aren't we forgetting something though? We, the ppl, are NOT powerless. We the ppl gave those in Capitol Hill the powers they have by the power of our vote. It's important to get a good education so that informed decisions can be made. If you're wise it's hard for others to use you and take advantage of you. This is why I have strongly encouraged those who are reading to learn the law. If you know it & understand it, it's harder for those in Congress to take advantage of you.

  • There are many ways to empower yourself and getting a wonderful education- finding a way to get an education-is one of them. Many lawyers are rich because they profit from the apathy and ignorance of how the law works. Most ppl aren't even aware that the Bill of Rights was a Contract between the States, the Government and the People. A contract your elected officials break and violate all the time when they take more power, take away your freedoms with the Patriot Act (an illegal document)

  • and state that the Constitution is a "living document" which it IS NOT. A good majority of ppl in the Senate, in Congress are lawyers and the only way to fight them is to fight fire with fire. Learn the law, use your vote, and do your research. Go for Congress yourself. If you feel more average people should be in Congress (and I agree) then go for it. Nothing but your fear stands in your way. Be a person for change. I am. I'm working for that right now. You can too.

  • RIP RED CROW. Your were a man of great spirituality and faith. You belived in your people and stood up for the rights of your people while your oppressors ignore your wise words of wisdom. "The Earth is our Mother care for her". "Enjoy lifes journey but leave no tracks". This world we live in today is being corrupted by so many.

  • Hau mitakuyepi!

I hope, one day the Lakota wisdom will be known all over the World. This is why I am just about to start learning Lakota language, and knowledge. I hope, one day I will know enough to teach the people in my country.

  • Your teachings will help the people , I will always call you Grandfather, now lets enjoy you on video you live on.. Duncan Pheasant Nagonigwane Ojibwa Manitoulin island,

  • I know we will meet again and I can learn from your wisdom. I know you are at a better place. Your wisdom and calmness will never be forgotten. NN

  • Exactly! The whole justification of the state of Isreals' existence is that their ancestors occupied that land 2,000 years ago. With that logic, shouldn't the Indians be in charge in America? I think the country needs a more natural approach to living.

  • We should all support the Lakota people in their effort to become a free, independent & sovereign Nation. The biggest reason I sight is because The United States Supports Israel's right to be recognized as a state in Palestine. I think if the United states feels that Israel has a right to exist The republic of Lakota should as well. After all These people's lands were taken from them at the barrel of a gun. It is time the USA recognizes their mistake & restores honor to our government.

  • now men today will see the feeling getting just small taste freedom to roam when yellow posted signs riddle the country side no trespassing where they once as child roamed the hills free
