  • I've seen Lily speak in person and I was impressed. Not so here though. I do think the NEA has made a mistake here. This speech seems like political spin. Obama (sticking with Arne Duncan) is NOT supporting PUBLIC education and we should not be endorsing him. I also voted for Obama in 2008 but am really not sure what I'll do in 2012. If he loses Arne (and his policies) I would consider voting for him again- but not unless.

  • This is bullshit. I'm an NEA member, and I sure as hell am not the only one who does NOT support Obama in 2012. I voted for him in 2008, not again!
