@Radici20 The pirates and possibly the town will be in the second one (called Deathspank: Thongs of Virtue) if you go to the official website for the game, it mentions traveling across the seas and you can find several images of pirates and ships if you look around. There will also be a western setting in the sequel too.

I have the final game, and though it's one of the better games on XBLA stuff like the haunted monastery and the sailing stuff isn't there. I just hope this was pulled for a good reason rather than for DLC.

Its funny looking back at this to see the changes they've made.

The interface is much better, the voice acting is much much better and the HUD is different but not horrible.

Not to happy with the hud changes. It looks plain now and the bar on the bottom is in the way.(Still looks great though) XBLA is looking good for the rest of the year. I would say Deathspank and Shank are going to be the next 2 hits and not to mention we got sonic 4 on the way, comic jumper and hydrophobia could shape up to be great as well. Looks like if your straped for cash XBLA is your answer.

I'm definitely liking this and Brutal Legend. Both add a form of comedic nature in video games that I find interesting. But what I'm definitely drawn into DeathSpank is it's... pop-up book graphics. It looks interesting like between 2D and 3D... I might wanna check this out.
