Is "Redneck videos" the exact name of the show? I suppose it's possible. I've had a couple of TV shows contact me about this video. I even signed a contract with one of them ("Country Fried Videos"). but they wound up returning the contract and never aired this video. I wound up telling the other one I wasn't interested because I couldn't tell if they were legit or not. They might have went ahead and aired it I guess. I can't even remember their name, but I don't think it was "Redneck Videos".

Hehehehe. Well I had watched BibleGirl's video wanting "Wierd Abilities" video responses a couple of days earlier and wrote it off because I couldn't think of any sort of wierd ability. Then I really wasn't thinking about it and the mouth pong thing just popped into my head. I do always have ping pong balls laying about for my cats to play with, so that was probably a factor in it.

The ones in the other direction are various empty cardboard boxes which I have arranged as a playfort I call "Fort Babs" for my cats. Fort Babs shows up better in a few of my cat vids. I sell an occasional book on Ebay so I have a lot of empty boxes scattered about.

Re: practice, not as much as you'd think. See my comment above to KateKosior. After seeing someone express concern in a video response to this, I Googled it and although the consensus seems to be ping pong balls in the mouth can be dangerous, I never did find a confirmed case of a death from choking. Bound to be a couple I guess. But on the other hand I'd say this is *MUCH* safer than driving as many miles as *cough* some people do, LOL. Be safe out there Jim.

I never practiced at all after I thought of it. I just started filming. I filmed 20 minutes but only needed 10 minutes worth to condense down to this 3 minutes. The editing does make me look a lot better than I really am though. Around 8 times in a row was the best I did. If the balls are bouncing very high they're extremely difficult to snag so I tried to blow them to a low spot on my microwave to minimize the bounce height.

Thanks BG:) No, I only *wish* I could have done it non-stop. I missed the ball quite a bit. Every time you see an angle change is a time where I missed. That seemed a logical place to edit in an angle change. 8 or 9 times in a row was the best I did at catching the balls. I did it with one camera. What you saw was an empty tripod because on the other side I used a shorter tripod.
