yeh, i agree, its just more MTV style mush. they lost the plot in late 80s when they decided, it would seem that they maybe thought they'd done the rounds, and decided it was time to earn some cash. maybe? but its not at all a butthole surfers sound. and the production is so homogenous it could be any indie/rock band! too teen movie and rock-sceney! nopt at all good or imaginative enough for buttholes, let them selves down with this one!

As far as the smooth change, it does not really sound like a change to me but more like the commercial appeal song for this album. They have always put material as smooth and this nice. Listen to Electriclarryland again but the whole albumn.. just not the radio friendly songs.
