Like one of those baby walker where the baby sits in it and it helps the baby learn hot to walk or something similar to it that can support the chihuahua until he becomes normal is possible. This is sad because my head does that too but I don't notice it....others do. For me it's a genetic thing caleld Dystonic Tremours. Other people with Dystonia it is very paniful but I don't feel a thing. My head just bobs (so I'm a musician and people think I'm be-bopping to the music in my brain). Is this similar in Dog World?

@chizukakawabata Pretty good job for that type of tremor. Our purebreds are in bred to produce a look or activity. With the inbreeding comes genetic problems. These tremors sometimes go away with time as the brain adapts, or get worse if the condition progresses. Some dogs and cats have mild tremors that don't cause problems

Ugh, I hope he passed peacefully. I wish people would go pick up a shelter mutt rather than buy these poor, horribly inbred mutants they're willing to drop a small fortune on. Also another thing is my puppy has no feeling from the neck to the top of her head. We discovered this when her playmates used to bite her ears really hard and get dragged around.She wasnt at all fazed.A pinch test confirmed that she has no sensation at all in the head area.Is the shaker syndrome related to this?My vet doesnt know and says it doesnt matter as it doesnt affect her day to day activities

I have a puppy similar to this except only her head shakes,her body doesnt move.Young pups usually grow out of this as they are developing their neck muscles but at 5-6 months old she was still doing this.Now she is 8 months old and only shakes her head when she is excited or attentive about something.Unfortunately she was accidently inbred.She also had a difficult birth and the vet didnt think she would survive.Perhaps she got brain damage due to this as she was born purple with a swollen head

People don't realize that chihuahua's are so tiny. When they play they use up all the sugar in their bodies and start to get very unresponsive and shaky. My chi-rat terrier mix took sugar all the time. Now she is 1 year old and has a sweet tooth! I am excited to say I now have a full blooded chi whom I love and adore who shakes after a hard play time and gets better right after with sugar!!!!

Thanks Doc for the info. Don't let the idiots that don't realize that a hypoglycemic puppy can die in a short time. I run a small dog rescue and have encountered many dogs and puppies with disabilities. I always thought that the shaking was caused by hypoglycemia, but you learn something new every day. When sugar doesn't help, at least now I know what I'm dealing with. Thanks again.
