What exactly did hapen to Mischke? All I've heard is that he was let go by the station, what he has said in his am1500 blog. Why was it so sudden, and what were the reasons behind it? It seems immediate dismissal isn't a lay off, it's a termination, unless that is standard procedure in the radio personality business. Any help anyone?

Great video...however Mark needs to put his emergency flashers on, I'd hate to see him get rear ended :o. I was glad to see he was wearing his seat belt, there are impressionable drivers out there, that will have the pleasure of viewing this video masterpiece.

Well I miss Mischke. I was a nightly listener when he was on at late night, then turned to the internet for the shift move, and then listened on podcasts.
I was a caller a few times, when by the name of Turbo! in Manitoba Canada. Also sent Mischke Beer on a few occasions.
Good luck Mischke. You deserve the best for bringing many of us many laffs.
The old saying is anyone can be replaced. Well they will put someone else on in your place but you my friend can not be replaced. I never called your show and perhaps I should have. The times you put a smile on my face are countless. The times I sat listening and shook my head in silent admiration were also countless.

As a former broadcaster of 16 years (3 in the Twin Cities), I know what it's like to be canned without notice and/or without any legitimate reason. The business can be brutally cruel and callous sometimes.
Thanks, Mr. Moeller, for giving us a reason to laugh during all of this. Tommy was and is one of the true innovators of Twin Cities radio. May he ride the airwaves again on another station to be announced. Until then, let's all grab a Summit and toast one to The Mischke Broadcast
