I used to watch KRON religiously in the '80s. Jerry Graham was good, as was Radnich. Emerald Yeh was marginal and Steve Newman was just a prettyboy tool.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot, Jerry Graham is the original host of Bay Area Backroads from July 1984 until March of 1993 when Doug McConnell took over the hosting duties after he left Mac & Mutley to where he still is to this day.
Emerald retired from KRON in 2003 after 19-20 years at KRON. I think management had something to do with many of the NBC KRON talent departure after KRON lost NBC affiliation to KNTV in January of 2002.
Didn't you came back to KRON after KGO? I know you left KRON and went to KPIX about 10 some odd years ago. You probably know already that KRON is now a MyNetworkTV Affilate...
I retired from TV in 2001 and currently work on my syndicated newspaper column, Earthweek ... and can occasionally be heard on Sirius Satellite Radio's OutQ Channel.
I hope we get a winter like this this year.

I always liked how KRON used similar graphics to NBC News during this era, but they hardly ever used the peacock logo.

At this time Jan Rasmussen was an anchor on KRON.
What ever happened to her?
BTW, she was also a judge in the City spelling bee in 1984-I missed siffilate hence the name
