In regards to the lyrics, what makes eternal life so much better than this one? That song strongly implies that the only reason one should believe is to receive the eventual rewards of heaven.
Just to continue what I was saying below, I've really come to appreciate the rules LU has in place. I appreciate curfew, to name one, because I know someone's going to be making sure I'm safe and sound in my room every night. Sure, I could do without some of the preference rules like dress code that are mainly meant to add to professionalism, but as for the rules that pertain to morals, thank God that Liberty -- for one college -- has them!

One thing Im lookin foward to is getting away from my parents and their strict rules so I really dont want to go to a college that is going to do the same thing. Any advice from current or previos LU student?
Ah yes, the rules... One of the biggest concerns of any incoming freshmen or transfers, as it was for me before I got to LU! Yes, we do have rules; however, following them is definitely not the pain you would think it is if you just use good judgment. I've really come to appreciate the rules, actually.
OMG the Liberty University Chamber Choir came to our school to help our choir they are like the best singers in the world i mean they sing ACCAPELLA I can not do that they sang Lation and opera and everything they were sooooo awesome.
I was in Bio 200 and I dont remember them showing us any fossils although I wouldnt be surprised if they had any ,and no I'm pretty sure the concept of eternal happiness doesnt include getting bored.
and to think that this great university came into being because a man walked around to various homes in a certain neighborhood starting a church.... about 50 years ago. Praise God!! Look what He can do.

Yep, Liberty Law School is better than Harvard or Yale. A lot of President Bush's Justice Department officials went there.
