@willwinter10 I've been there dude. Use steel leader hooks. You will never lose them again, unless it breaks the line (laugh). Seriously, switch to steel leader hooks, and you should be able to catch them with no problem.

those are snappers. I love to use them as live bait. They are good for flounder, bigger blues and striped bass.

@jawsflounderace snapper blues are some of the best eating/tasting...they taste alot better than the bigger blues, but that is usually the case with most fish. The size they are catching are less oily, and are great for frying and baking.

huh are there rays in puget sound. well im only 11 years old an all i got is a little paddle boat an i want to try an go out far to try to catch halibut but they are to far out there but we should be getting a alumaweld any day now then ill ask my dad to take me out there an try to catch halibut.
