  • I am organizing an event at CERES in Melbourne on Friday 17th 2012 focused on the Kimberley and the NT Intervention. Screening Our Generation and short films about the Kimberley Campaign, with live music and speakers. We would really love to screen this film clip. Would that be possible? And could we access a high quality copy for a Blow Up cinema screening?

Please contact me at juliealanbain@yahoo.com.au Thanks Julie

  • The kimberley is a massive place, over 400,00km^2. Ive been there its a magnificant place. But to throw away $50B for the Australian economy and 6000 badly needed jobs in the outback is purely ridiculous. The amount that can be generated from such industry in a small section of a vast wilderness can be put back to the local communites that are struggling.

  • Why is this video being throttled down? I just watched another in real time while waiting for this one to download.

  • this is horrible...

  • what a disgrace the leaders of this country are!! sad times indeed

  • who is that at 3:44? Colin Barnett? What is his role in the Kimberley? I am not from Australia and would like to know more about it, including the politicians involved

  • It makes me happier than anything to see white and black finally come together.

This video was very hard to watch, an overwhelming feeling of helplessness consumes me when i see the trucks rolling in and the tears being shed. I hope these people don't give up their fight. Fuck Colin Barnette, Fuck this government, i feel ashamed to be an Australian.

  • "Good people sick and tired of being pushed around,

we call them kings but I see no crown.

Tell me when you think we'll just stand up,

say enough is enough is enough, enough I'm saying"

  • John is very impressive man.

    Love his oeuvre.

  • Can't help but feel in a number of years we'll look at this place and see it in ruin... and then, and only then, will the pricks know how wrong they were are. It actually disgusts me!!

Corporations power is actually disgusting... they really and truly sicken me. I've shown this to a bunch of friends in Ireland, all disgusted. This is a sick act, and needs to be stopped.

Appreciate the world for what it is... not, your wallets... sickens me.

    SAVE THE KIMBERLEY!!!!

  • @Jerrylane18 I agree. Those people are disgusting that could blindly tear down land like that. How could no one have the courage to join the protesters? It's cuz they were getting paid to haul them off and ruin their land. How disgusting in the grand scheme of things to be able to blatanly kill the land with no regards, just for money. Aren't there other ways of getting needs met?

  • makes me sad...I really wonder what do those guys think when they're riding on their trucks through the trees...

  • Thankyou, wonderful video!

  • :(

  • This is the saddest.

  • Isn't it amazing that police can just drag people away from that kind of barbaric industrialisation just because it's their "job" to do so. Same goes with the CEOs and officials of those companies. Take of the suits and uniforms and put them in the fields with everyone else and they're just humans to.

  • This makes me furious. How can they do that? Thank you so much for raising awareness of this beautiful land and the despicable pigs that think they can rule it.

  • This is such a sad video, yet at the same time hopeful. I hope your, and the locals, continued efforts to save the Kimberley don't go unnoticed and things change.

This is an incredibly powerful video and should be shown throughout the world to let everyone know the disgrace that is being put forth on one of the last places untouched by corporate greed. If I lived there, I'd be there with you all to help save such a precious piece of land

  • @LoungeFly02 liked 1000 times! I'm with you! This video has to be shown all over the world to show what fucking corrupt people are touching our mother nature

  • @LoungeFly02 I finally donated. Thank you to all those on the ground and behind the scenes, doing their bit to save our future, culture and heritage.

  • Thank you for letting you music do the talking about this disgraceful situation. Corporate greed being allowed to destroy the land, the culture, the heritage & our childrens' future. SHAME, SHAME, SHAME!

  • Very happy to see someone standing up for something unjust. From your brothers in New Zealand. BTW we want a netball rematch. Not really no one likes netball.

  • Much Aroha!!!!!

  • damn dude, i bet his guitar got fucked up bc of the low humidity, still really sad..

  • Thank you. Oh John, why? I got tears in my eyes. I thank you very humbly, and say 'Nee'.PLease let me rise.I try in every way,but never succesfull. I am with you all there at the Kimberley and I am trying to help you all every minute. Deepest respect,A

  • Much respect from canada.
