I have just got back from a weekend in the isle of man, have not been for almost 15 years, i used to go every year as a kid, my gran lives in laxey. i have always loved the island. it has changed so much though.
Port Erin have changed so much, especially by the Railway station, where the buses are stored and even the buses have changed, and the color of the carriages of the train have changed as well, this must have been filmed quite a few years ago.And even the train has changed color now from the maroon color it used to be!
Also Colby station (2.31) has changed too, now it has raised platforms!
Even though I live on the island, it was still fascinating for me to watch this amazing video. Well Donee xx
The guy uncoupling the loco at Port Erin with the ginger hair is Jack Dibnah, son of the late Fred - had a great time in the IOM in 2007, nice to see it again here!
GREAT video about a little world-famous railway. Kind thanks!

That was a very proffesional film. the commentary could have been abit slower but it's your film and you can do what you want with it.
